Highly repetitive flaming pattern. Does not look as good as other bulbs I have when looking directly at bulbs. I had to put them in a location where the light was ambient/reflected as opposed to direct view. Doing this resulted in an acceptable outcome. Also, the bulbs are huge. Be careful purchasing these if you’re going to use them in a smaller fixture.

I really like that they do appear to be flames. You really get the effect when you stand back on the sidewalk (30ft away) and look at them at night. Really trick the eye. They are roughly 3500 brightness which mimics a flame color. I had no problem changing them out and they seem to be doing well even after a big rain storm (I have mine on our coach lights outside)

These DO have the E12 base, but the threaded portion is about twice as long as a normal bulb that is used in outdoor pole mounted carriage-style lights like many have in the front yard of their homes. THESE WILL NOT FIT OR WORK IN OUTDOOR DECORATIVE POLE LIGHTS! They screw in ok but threads are too long. I'm unable to answer about brightness, longevity etc. because they don't light up. May work in candleabra lights indoors, but not in an outdoor fixture.

These are too orange in light color for my taste and the flame flicker is clunky/thick looking. They are still working after 3 months in an outside lantern, but I’m not impressed with the overall look. Tacky. Not the look I was hoping for and not very bright. I’ve got flicker candles that look more real!

After 3 months of 10-12 hrs per day 2 of the 6 bulbs are dead. Of course the seller has disappeared from Amazon. So much for the " 5 year warranty".

Love these lights - but not super bright. I was looking for some light that looked like gas lights and these do. My daughter even commented on how pretty they were. But if you are looking for super bright lights outside - these are not it

The flickering is unlike a real flame. The bulb is unsightly if left without a shade. I am very disappointed. Maybe they will be nice on the patio in the summer.
