Easy to use appropriate test
This tests for anti-tissue transglutaminase IgA antibidies, which is what your doctor would test for. Many other tests test for other things that are not appropriate in the diagnosis of coeluac disease. The test was easy to use with good instructions. The lance worked very well and the capillary tube worked fine- you just have to be patient and keep squeezing your finger (not the bulb). I would definitely recommend. I just wanted to check I didn't have coeliac disease before starting a gluten-free diet (you have to eat gluten for 6 weeks before doing this test, so didnt want to find the diet helped but then be unable to check for CD).

Pipette doesn’t work
It was easy enough to use the lance to draw blood but the pipette just doesn’t suck it up to the black line. The instructions say not to squeeze the bulb so if the pipette doesn’t suck the blood up on it’s own then you’re stuck. Mine didn’t so I literally couldn’t complete the test.

Ok but expensive
It appeared to work. Exactly how accurate I will never know. Expensive for what it is.

GP recognised but make sure someone else helps.
First, make sure you're eating and have been eating gluten normally or this test absolutely won't work. The idea of stabbing my own finger was horrifying, but it surprisingly absolutely did not hurt. You also get two stabbers incase you mess up the first. Place the stabber on your finger pad, NOT the side. It doesn't hurt at all but you'll still be trying to wring your finger out of blood whilst collecting it in the weird pipette. I also recommend doing this with another person to assist. The process is a little complicated and between the counting seconds and squeezing blood out of your hand it you might mess it up. It's easy to do and use, it can just be a little complicating to read the instructions as the steps must be done exactly as written. However a really great test, definitely saves waiting a week for GP results and the GP recognises it as a legitimate test which is great. Would definitely use others from this range.

Missing part
Unfortunately there was no pipette in the box so unable to use. Will be returning for a refund.

Not to difficult to use
Tried this as have been put on gluten free diet by dietician but not convinced that that was my problem. Test shows negative so my thoughts confirmed. Quite simple to use but difficult getting enough blood from finger!

Waste of money in my opinion
I think you need more than 2 lancets I didn't have enough blood to put in the pipette to touch the black line and I followed the instructions so I had only a drop of blood. It says is negative but can I trust it?Not sure...

Does what it says
I genuinely dont understand the reviews saying waste of money as the lancet or pipette didnt work. I read the instructions and watched the online video (qr code with instructions) and it was simple to use. Result was negative. I am having a benous blood test next week from the GP but wanted to see if this showed anything up first. I will update my review with the results if i can
