This battery (when I first got it) had and held a 100% charge. Over time (as I keep my laptop running on mains all the time) the battery now will not have a higher capacity than 60%. It appears that it is degrading over time. I didn't expect this from a new battery. Hopefully the manufacturer will see this message and provide a solution or replacement battery that WILL hold a charge. The battery is now able to fully charge to 100% and (so far) is holding that charge. I'll do the routine suggested and it appears that it will work quite well going forward. Regards, Nolan K. I got tired of my laptop powering off every time the AC cord was accidentally removed, so I broke down and bought a replacement from GHU. Battery fits and works exactly like the original that came with the laptop. Now I don't have to turn the power on for my laptop just because the cord came out. If GHU would like the original battery to rebuild, they can contact me with shipping instructions. I would be happy to send it to them if they will pay for the shipping.

Overall it's a decent battery. has good battery life. it feels well put together and the computer doesn't seem to have any problem with it. my only small gripe is that the fit could be better. it latches in and stays put reasonably well. but it doesn't fit flush with the battery socket and doesn't feel as secure as it could. Normally this wouldn't be a huge deal but ive had a couple instances where I've set the laptop down and had the battery pop loose. Easy enough to fix with a velcro strap or some tape

In use for a few months now. Fit to laptop is just fine. Capacity as expected.

It's hard to write a review about a battery right after you buy it. I've had it about two weeks now and have had no issue with it. I use this old Dell D820 because it still has a built in COM port. Comes in handy in the work I do. I've only ran the laptop on battery for about 1hr and the battery performed perfectly showing about another hour left (per windows)

Seller was fine, but the battery did not work for me. Package was good. Delivery was on time. Product did not work for me.

Received battery. Very well packaged and akin to the original. Impressed with its initial charge capacity. However, I was following the instructions provided on the packaging and on the manual to condition the battery, and now it does not charge. I discharged the battery to 5%, the laptop then turned off. Upon reconnecting power and turning it on, the battery no longer charges. It is stuck at 1% and the laptop reports the battery is "charging", but the charge percentage is not increasing. This is reported in the BIOS and in Windows. I left the laptop turned off and plugged in with a known good charger for 6 hours and it will not charge. That being said, I appreciate the packaging and accuracy of the battery to the original. Hoping to find a resolution to the battery not charging.
