Just What You’d Expect
I recently got the TACBRO V-Block for my Ruger 10/22, and it’s exactly what I needed. The fit is spot on, and the added stability is noticeable. Doesn’t fit standard 10/22 receiver
Screws way too long. Obviously not thought through by manufacturer.

You don't need the v-block for the Ruger 10/22 takedown.
Didn't use the v-block, but I have always used the recoil buffers in my 10/22's. The buffers take away that hard slamming of the bolt on the rear steel pin the comes with the rifle.
