Very Disappointing
I bought this for my wife in preparation for an upcoming trip. We both quickly realized that her I-phone takes far better pictures. My wife has experience in photography and knows how to adjust all the settings, but the pictures were really washed out with horrible color contrast. We tested it indoors, outdoors, full light, night time using the flash. We ended up returning the camera. Very disappointing as Canon has a great rep for good consumer cameras. Not this one.

Camera NOT in English. Menu is Chinese by default!!
Camera straight out the box is in Chinese! Literally! There is no instruction manual and if you go to the website on the box, that is in Chinese too!Took two days and calling Amazon to find a tech to walk me through changing language on camera to English.Comes with only 1 battery that last about 30 minutes without the flash and about 5 minutes with the flash, so I’d suggest buying extra batteries too.The charger that comes with it is A/C only. So if you want to charge on the go, you have to purchase USB charger separate as well.

Great product, great price.
Got the camera earlier than was expected. I have other cannon cameras but wanted something for quick trouble free shooting. This was perfect, great image with auto focus, easy to use. Perfect for capturing those special everyday moments. Also really loving the wifi capabilities that make it so easy to share my photos.

No instructions and the language was some sort of Asian.
It might be a good camera, but I was not able to try it out because there were no instruction manual and the language was Asian of some sort. I did not have an option of a language with an alphabet. Also, there is no way to transfer pictures to my computer as there was no cable. I thought Cannon was a good product. Too bad I couldn't find out.

it's a great camera, mine just didn't have the Sims card in it

Easy to use! Very lightweight.
This is a great camera. It is easy to setup. I am still learning how to use the different modes but it has a lot to offer. I am taking it on a trip soon and can’t wait to break it in!
