You get exactly what the description says you do and they work great! On top of that

On top of that, amazon prime so if you need cheaper digital strips and dont want to wait for china delivery times, this is a great deal.

Nice RGB LEDs for Arduino!
These work very well, as I expected. However, I was a little disappointed that the adhesive tape is already coming off the back of strip, even before I unwind it from the spool. (see photo) So, I don't think they will stick securely with the tape provided.

The 4 pieces I ordered had been assembled of 10 ...
The 4 pieces I ordered had been assembled of 10 @ 1/2 meter segments each, leaving a solder joint and irregular solder pads every 1/2 meter (and every 1 meter, where I needed to cut them.) Bottom line: What should have been a 2 second cut with a scissors and quick solder job with a few wires became a significant hassle. Project is now waiting for a solder sucker tool to disassemble. One of the 4 sets was missing the end connector for the data side. In the photo, near the slit in the cardboard, you can clearly see the solder joints. The "loop" is 1/2 meter long.

Interfacing with these lights is incredibly easy. 1 wire, and 5 volts. Arduino code is available.

Not a tight strand.
When I ordered this strip I didn't fully read the description. 30 LED's per meter was way too spacey for my needs so I just thought of another plan and adapted. Things worked out just fine.
