OMOTON Kindle Voyage Smart Case Cover -- The Thinnest and Lightest PU leather Case Cover for the Latest Amazon Kindle Voyage with 6" Display and Built-in Light, Brown

I've owned a version of every generation of Kindle e-reader. And, I'd tried many different cases to protect them. I decided on Omoton because it functions as well as the best Kindle branded case with a greater variety of interesting cover graphics/colors and with, at least, equal functionality. Once I pop a new Kindle into an Omoton case I never remove it, and never use the on/off Kindle switch -- no need to. The passive magnetic on/off switch of the Omoton turns off the Kindle. The Omoton case is so light, thin and strong that I am still able to shove my Kindle Voyage into the back pocket of my jeans with no trouble -- and sit on the Kindle with no damage. I've dropped my Omoton protected Kindle on hard bathroom floors many times with no damage to Kindle or case. The case has baked in Caribbean suns, been doused with beer, coffee and wine -- all easily wiped off, and looks almost as good, now as the day I received it.

There are several of this style of cases listed on Amazon; it's not clear to me if they are exactly the same case or not.I had another one of a different brand/seller, but it was identical to this one (as best as I can remember; unfortunately that kindle and it's cover was lost :( ).I bought this case for the new voyage I received for Christmas. It's either identical to or very similar to the one I had previously. The on/off feature works great, and the case is slim enough not to add too much extra bulk. I usually carry my Kindle in my purse or handbag, so I don't need a ton of protection for it; for that use this fits the bill perfectly.

The design and build quality are commensurate for the typical sale price of $10-15. Due to the problems outlined below, I regret not returning this case when I still had a chance.General Positives- The magnet seems to perform properly as far as I can tell.- The texture is intended to imitate saffiano, and it somewhat succeeds.Negatives- You generally have to remove your Kindle from the case to charge. The bottom of the case hugs the charging port, which means you'll need to find a USB cable with a much smaller head / bezel area than the cable that comes with your device.- The magnet is imperfect, causing the front cover to droop slightly.- Despite very limited use, the imitation leather part of the case is already pulling away.

This case looks nice and feels good in the hand. The smart cover feature works well and the kindle comes on quickly every time I open the cover. My complaint is that the first time I tried to take the case off, it damaged my Kindle Voyage! Never had that happen with a case before. The hard black plastic piece on the top of the back of the kindle came off about half way before I realized what was happening. I can't get my kindle back together properly so I am just keeping the cover on. So if you buy this cover, be careful taking your Kindle out of it.

I rarely write reviews, but I just had to remark on how satisfied I am with this cover. I debated for weeks before I pulled the trigger on it, as I'd always hesitated to buy third-party covers for any device. But since Amazon didn't seem to be in a hurry to address the origami disaster, I decided it couldn't hurt, especially at that price. No regrets: it fits great, it's super slim, and while no one will be fooled into thinking it's an expensive case, it doesn't look "cheap," either. Very easy to recommend. The brown color is just a shade darker than the tan paperwhite leather cover from amazon, looks pretty sharp.

This cover fits like a glove. Easy to insert your device . Magnetic catch turns the kindle voyage on and off without having to use the power button. There is a power button cutout on the back so you always have access to it if needed. There is also access to the charging outlet as well. It's made of pleather, but not offensive in any way.

Really impressed with this case. It fits perfectly and completely covers my new Kindle Voyage. It even mimics the neat geometric shape of the back of the reader. The front flap has a strong magnet that holds it in place and automatically wakes the Kindle when opened and puts it to sleep when closed. The textured finish looks impressive and feels nice to the touch. There is really no need to look any further unless you want to spend twice to three times as much for an inferior case.

Great for the price. Fits well, but moves a bit near the page press buttons, making a small scratching sensation. Of course my "Kindle Paperwhite Cover" has a much better quality feel (But it was $50 or more). This product does the job. Nice magnetic closure. Can't go wrong for 15 bucks!
