We were adding a generator to our house and needed to redo our propane line to accommodate the new generator. Our old regulator had been installed for 35 years and we decided to change the regulator while the piping was apart. You can’t buy these locally as most propane companies will only sell them if they install them. My husband was a registered plumber and worked in the utility industry and had the necessary knowledge and skill to install it himself. I would not suggest installing this as a DIY project if you do not have training in the plumbing or gas utility trade.

This regulator works as it should I’m a HVAC contractor in the mid west and plumb in many propane generators with these regulators and have Han no issues will be getting more of them.
