I've used my new sauna several times now and love it. It is all that it was promised to be and all that others described in their reviews here on Amazon. It heats up readily and creates a deep sweat that really does help cleanse one's body and ease muscle strains. Further, and surprisingly, it is a very well made, high quality, and lovely "piece of furniture", not just a box you sit in. It looks classy and pricey yet is a bargain at this price. I've shown it to several friends who were all highly impressed with it and now may order one as well.The expansive glass front allows me to sit inside and watch the news on TV outside and to feel like I'm in an expansive open area rather than a cramped box. Or, I can plug in my MP3 and listen to quiet, relaxing music on the very capable speakers during my sauna sessions.It was packaged very well for delivery and didn't involve an overly large number of components, four boxes only. However, I give it four stars, not five, only because I was frustrated by the very minimal installation instructions and owner's manual that came with it. Given the high quality of the product itself, these documents do not measure up to that same level of quality, which I found baffling. To improve these documents would be such an easy fix for JNH to make. You have a great product, please make the papers that go with It equally as good! I got lost on the first step of the installation instructions when it says, "on the card slot" as part of the instructions. Say what? What is a card slot, what is this supposed to mean? I had to call JNH and they quickly emailed me only slightly better "Step by Step Assembly Instructions" but for a different model of sauna than I told them I had. This helped but it was frustrating to have to try to figure things out when it could be so much simpler with better instructions. I assembled it all by myself in about two hours, including moving and installing the heavy glass door panel, however it would be better if two people worked on this together. The Owner's Manual is also very basic and simplistic and could be easily improved in quality and content to match the quality of the product.Overall, now that it's assembled, installed, and working well, I'm very happy with my purchase and consider it a wise investment that I will use for many years. It looks great, works great, and truly exceeded my expectations in terms of the quality of the materials and finished product. But, JNH, please improve the assembly instructions and owner's manual!!I had to swap out my 15 amp outlet and install a 20 amp outlet that I bought at Home Depot for less than $3 but this was easy to do. I thought I should review this product as this was the most costly purchase from Amazon for us to date. Well we love it! Prior to buying we went to a retail store that sells infrared saunas and they didn't have this brand but their starting prices were in the 3k. I get claustrophobic in the (2 person) small ones so that was out of our budget and didn't look any better built. I asked for the difference between an online purchase and their brands and they mentioned that the retail saunas heat up faster and are made from Canadian Hemlock wood. Well so is this one and both the store brand and this brand is made in China so I don't see the difference. I looked into the JNH company and was happy to see their HQ in the USA, which hopefully means customer service should be good (haven't used it since purchase).The delivery came on the day as promised, I got a call a few days before to confirm the time of shipping. It came on a crate, in 3 large boxes which were wheeled into our garage. I was nervous that it would be too heavy to move or too big to move from our garage to the basement; and it wasn't. I did open up the boxes right away to make sure the glass wasn't cracked or anything broken. Prior to it arriving my husband did install a 20amp outlet since it does require that. So we were ready when it arrived! My husband said the instructions were 'brief' and indeed they were but it was also an easy setup. Basically the whole thing buckles together. Moving the parts down to the basement was pretty easy except the glass front piece, which was heavy. I used 'moving straps' that I purchased from amazon to haul it down the steps but my husband didn't need anything. It was put together and turned on in 3 hours. So far I have no complaints about the heating up time, but I don't have a thermometer with me so it's hard to judge when it really is at the temperature. I have used it every day for a week now and I love it! I feel so relaxed afterwards and I sleep like a baby. My only complaint is that the one LED light is not enough lighting for me when I am reading a magazine on the opposite side of the light, I have to have the room lights on. And also the display does not show you the current temperature, but other than that this is perfect!So far I'm a happy and sweaty customer!
