Amazing Artwork
I recommend all of the Evangelion volumes to anyone who likes action and mecha with a story unlike any other anime out there. In this volume, it basically starts off "The End of Evangelion" and closely follows the movie with some differences, such as Asuka temporarily coming out of her psychological coma to strangle Shinji and Misato's final moments. Brilliant artwork. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and Kouji Seo (Creator of "Suzuka") are the best Manga-kas of all time. If you're a fan of the anime series then I suggest you pick up the manga, you won't be disappointed.

The End?
I got this manga thinking it was the last volume in the series. Been waiting almost 2 years to read it and it's the BIGGEST cliff hanger of an ending. Can't really call it an ending, the manga leaves off before anything super important happens so this isn't the conclusion at all. Almost a filler really. Makes me sad to think but I cannot find a volume 13.

It could have been this way
This volume covers the movie End of Evangelion starting in the middle of Seele's attack on Nerv, and ends in the middle of the first round of Asuka's battle with the mass-produced Evas. And if that sentence makes no sense to you, neither will this book. The manga as a whole retells the story of Neon Genesis Evangelion with certain modifications. In this volume, the most important difference is that Gendo saves Shinji from the invading soldiers, but Sadamato makes this change believable. Gendo's motivations and goals are never really very clear in the anime and movie, and Sadamato at least provides some hints at an explanation that makes sense. I eagerly await the final (?) volume 13.

Eva vol 12
Sadamoto's Evangelion vol 12. Story gets more wtf as you read - Gendo, Shinji, and Misato on the cover. Admittedly, Sadamoto's art isn't as good as his first volumes of Evangelion, but it doesn't distract from enjoying the manga. Cool little sci-fi story, highly recommended read.

Shipped on time!
For some reason, this volume is more difficult to find than the others in this series. The seller was very responsible and shipped it promptly; I am so glad I got it in time for my boyfriend's birthday. The book was in great condition.
