Needing to make my husbands ability to sign documents as he ages, it was suggested we get him a signature stamp. (Arthritis is his enemy) This was an easy process, I found it to be reasonably priced and will make his life much easier. Now filling out multiple medical , financial and legal forms will be much easier.

The reason I gave this signature stamp four instead of five stars is not because of the stamp's ability to replicate one's signature accurately and credibly but because of a difficulty in putting it to use on checks and other documents that require a signature on a printed line. I've used it numerous times now and have finally managed to get the stamp lined up in such a way as to get sufficiently close to the provided to line to be acceptable. Even so, I still don't succeed every time and that can be a problem when the document being signed is an original. The problem with the stamp is that there is no guide to allow you to see that where the signature will be stamped once the stamp is placed on a document. All the foregoing being said, I still use this signature stamp frequently and have found that it does the job in almost all circumstances now that I have developed a fairly good eye for where the signature will actually appear according to my placement of it. I just wish the manufacturers of the stamp could make an effort to come up with a guide of some sort that would take away the guesswork for using an otherwise excellent product. When I use the stamp on a document or check it is almost invariably clear, sharp, and distinct. In fact, it is often difficult to distinguish it from my actual signature. I use the phrase "almost invariably" clear, sharp, etc. but want to make clear that I do not mean the stamp doesn't perform consistently well, because it does. When it is not sharp and clear it is because I have not pressed down on the stamp squarely or with enough force. That isn't the fault of the stamp itself. The second reason I have given the stamp four rather than five stars is because of the difficulty in determining the correct stamp size you need. I initially ordered the small size for my signature stamp and found it to be fine for some uses but too small for many others. So I had to order a second one that was a larger size. I should have but didn't think about the fact that different documents call for different size signatures. Again, this is not an indication of a faulty stamp but a problem for purchasers in not having a sense of the actual size of the stamp one is ordering until it arrives and is put to use. I really do recommend this stamp but with a couple of caveats as indicated. I hope this helps.
