Easy to use, works great.
Connected these to the output of an AirPort Express for airplay from my TV to my subwoofer. Works great to drop out the high frequencies. Now I have my subwoofer working in conjunction with my Apple TV and my HomePods.

Works great and it replaced an expensive electronic crossover
I bi-amp my system and run the full range open baffle speakers straight off a SET amp with nothing in the signal path to mar the sound. Can't do the same with bass woofers as they require a low pass filter and that's where the F-mods come in handy and provide a simple solution. Previous to my purchase of the F-mods I used an electronic crossover which worked but was expensive and unnecessarily complex. I use a class D amp to drive my bass woofers and the F-mods are installed up stream and on the inputs of that amp meaning they change the frequency before the signal is amplified. That means you don't burn off power like you would with a conventional passive crossover which changes the frequency after its amplified.

A convenient "bare minimum" solution.
These are good in the sense that they are extremely easy to setup, intuitive, and require zero configuration. But honestly, they just don't work very well... I was using these with my subwoofers, trying to filter out everything other than the bass. But even with just my subs active, it was amazing how much higher-frequency content was still getting through. You could still clearly hear all of the vocals, etc. All through the subs. I finally went with an actual DSP and the difference was night and day. Literally nothing but bass comes out of the subs now. But I understand that not everyone is going to want to deal with something like a DSP, and these adapters are still a good option for those willing to accept a "bare minimum" solution.

Works
I had to much bass coming from vocals in talk radio. I thought, could the shop not have put a crossover on the sub?Couldn’t find a crossover in my head unit and got these and it tightened up the bass in music and helped tremendously for talk radio.

Works, but pricey
I'm using one of these on a subwoofer in my bathroom which is connected to an old amp. Neither of the two devices have a low-pass crossover setting, so the sub tends to get lets of signal above 80Hz.Installing just one of these took almost all of the higher signals away, so I have to say they work well.I don't usually do this, but I had to drop a star for the price. Why on earth are these so expensive?!They work ... and they're compact and unpowered ... but my goodness, they might as well be made of gold, not just coated in it.

Very very impressive
This works absolutely perfect. I turned the xover on my amp all the way up and am using this as my xover and it's amazing. I didn't realize this also gives a db gain. I had to turn the bass down so I could drive. Everyone keeps saying how much better it sounds now. Super easy to install too

Doesn’t Cutoff at 70hz
The media could not be loaded. I bought the 70hz low pass filter and it doesn’t cut my sub off at 70hz, try more like 200hz. I went into fl studio and set a manual low pass filter to test where it actually cuts the sub of, and it’s more or less around 215hz. It’s installed correctly, it just doesn’t work properly…

Amazing. Fixed My Problem
This amazing product fixed my problem and saved me money. I installed an aftermarket headunit in my F150 2008 keeping my factory subwoofer and amp. For some reason, I had vocals and humming come out of the subwoofer which was making my other interior speakers sound like crap. I slapped this crossover on the RCA cable beind my head unit going directly to my sub and amp and it completely fixed the problem. I highly recommend!
