ID Card Holder (for Military/Tactical Units/Government) (Tan) (1) [Hook & Loop Badge Key Ring w/Neck Lanyard] + Self Defense Pen w/Glass Breaker (1)

I have to have 2 badges on me for work. This holds them very well and does not affect key or time clock readings. We also have to scan our ID barcode at the computer to sign off on work orders and this works fine with bar code readers. The key ring on this was to big for my taste and was very very difficult to remove but I did manage to swap it out for a smaller one and that works better for me. The back card holders work great for our lunch cards and scraper cards. I also put a small pair of tweezers and a small ceramic rod (for taking the burrs off Xacto blades) in one of the slots. The pen holder works good but I use a belt reel with this and it just isn't handy to hold my pen (we are constant writing and filling out forms and contact sheets) so I keep my pen in my lab coat pocket instead. I did find the pen holder works great for a AAA pen light which comes in handy for dark room use or other flashlight related tasks (we build lighting products and often need a quick backlight check so a lot of us carry flashlights rather than hauling parts into the darkroom). The included tactical pen is very durable and very pointed at the glass breaker end. The pen is too heavy for my lab coat pocket so I pants pocket carry the pen (nice to have the pen handy as we sometimes need to "tweak" PCB inserts and the pen works great for making those adjustments). The lanyard for this really doesn't work for me and I was pretty unimpressed with it so I removed it and use a retractable reel instead, I also like that the ID can be separated via the Velcro but really wish they had included a hole in the ID portion so it could be used separately if so desired . This is a great alternative to the typical cheap ID badge holders and is super customizable. Very handy in today's work environment. I did find a few of the threads were not finished well and seemed to be hanging beyond the fabric edges but a quick touch-up with an arc lighter and they were not only removed but also sealed off well. I have had a few people at work ask me about my ID holder as the ones they provide for free at work are pretty junky and wear out too quickly. When I tell them about the TAC pen that comes with this they are amazed at the very reasonable price point.Just an 8 month update: This is still amazing. It has help up perfectly and looks as good as it did when new. I have switched back to a neck lanyard (homemade with 550 para cord). I love how much stuff this carries. The pen has also help up great and the refills last at least 3 months of daily use. I have no doubt this is going to last a long long time.
