Q: Is there supposed to be a lid covering one of the holes? Mine didn’t come with one and the treats keep falling out both sides too quickly!

Tiny bit of sellotape covering 1/3 of hole works a treat. Keeps them busy for hours. Also, using different size biscuits works well, little ones give them quick success, essential to keep them going. Medium tasty ones for making it worth it, and gravy bones (really hard to get out, even when snapped in half) to keep them going with it for ages and ages. They will need a bit of a hand with the gravy bones, we don’t want them to feel they can’t do it, but that they will be able to do it if they keep going with it ages. The dogs adore them. We are up to about 45 mins of dogs happily clonking their treat ball around. Awesome. Best toy ever bought so far.

Q: Is this good for chewers??

Depends what you are after. If your dog likes things to chew then you could try hide sticks as they also act as a treat. If the dog is chewing furniture then a liberal wipe with clove oil will stop that! As for the ball, it’s ok but the food falls out really quickly and ends up covering the floor - not much of a challenge!

Q: What size treats does the ball hold?

About 1cm otherwise won’t get through the hole.

Q: How do you open it to clean it?

It doesn’t open you put the food treats through the large holes on the surface I clean it by emptying it and submerging in clean soapy water
