Has more cushion than the last one. Definitely a positive. Bolting the seat on tractor was more difficult than needed to be.

I put used everything but the tracks and put this on my LX277 and it’s sit at such a bad angle. Even when sitting on the seat the springs do not compress enough to sit down comfortably. The springs are about 4 inches high the original ones are much shorter. I tried to return it but they wanted me to pay shipping cost so I took the pivot rod out of the new seat and put the seat on the old mounting and ordered new OEM springs. Also be aware that if you want to install the tracks you have to remove the body of the tractor to get the bolts loose on the LX277.Easier to buy a seat and springs separately.

I had to shorten the springs to level out the seat and the mounts between the track and seat and the seat bucket are not meta. Other than that I can’t complain.

This seat can work for many applications, and that's the problem. It replaces the entire base and sliding thing that moves the seat back and forth and you cannot just remove a pin, pull the rod out of the old seat, and put the new one on. You have to replace the "running gear". I do not have the tools or patience for that. I later went to the Deere store for replacement seat and all I needed was a screwdriver to pop the pin off the rod, pll the rod out, remove the old seat and put the new one on. Super simple and easy, although the seat costs more. Big deal.
