Good product, good design, much easier than others we've tried. Trying to get 100 lb+ dogs legs into "pants type" slings is almost impossible. Under belly not good either, puts too much pressure on dogs belly, & is harder to do his duty, & harder for us parents to carry. This lifts rear end weight where it is needed, & leaves plenty of freedom for dog to urinate & poop. The minute we put him in it & took him outside he started to smile again! He was definitely a happier dog! We had just a few issues that stems from dog's condition. He seemed to slip out of larger size due to lack of muscle mass in back legs, so had to go a size smaller. He still slips out of it a little, & have to fuss w/ it, but only because he cannot stand alone, & is a very large & heavy dog. The buckle broke on the second sling, could be a "bit" sturdier especially for larger dog squirming around, but trying to be careful w/ the buckle so far replacement has been fine. Customer service w/ the exchange of size & broken buckle was smooth & easy. No questions asked, & received the 2 replacements without a hitch. We just ordered a second sling to have a clean one on hand. Washes easily, just put in sink w/ warm water & gentle soap, soak a few minutes & swish around & then rinse, good as new! Dries quickly. Highly recommend this sling for ease & comfort for dogs with back leg issues..

This is great for dogs that have back end weakness or paralysis who need some assistance with lifting their hind legs. It does exactly what it should do. There are too many straps though. I wish there was just one strap leading from the legs to the handle. Instead there are 2 and they get twisted which is annoying when you are putting this on your dog. Our pup measured a small but even the small is too big. There is a lot of extra space around the leg. We are glad that we bought this since it does what it is intended for, but just wish it was a better fit.

Sizing - Make sure you measure your pet and check against the recommended sizing - our medium- sized 30 pound beagle needed the small size, even though he is by no means "small."Utility - Our fur baby had hind-leg paralysis; we were told without $8K+ surgery that he wouldn't walk again. We decided on conservative treatment instead. At first, we used strips cut from towels to lift him into standing position and support him on potty breaks. The problem was, towel strips dug into his belly and made it very hard for him to pee. This harness goes around the legs and alleviated that pressure. It allowed him to walk using his front legs while we supported his back legs. We soon observed him moving his back legs as if trying to use them while in the harness. Over time, we were able to use the harness to help him bear weight on his back legs until he no longer needed the harness at all.Ease of use - it's confusing to put the harness. A larger illustration on the package insert would help, as would clear color marking or striping on the leg rings so you know if they're in the right direction. Also, this cleans up easily - on several occasions poop got on the straps (because of how it fits). The harness washes easily and dries quickly.

Not as easy to use as a belly band. Works once on and supported but falls off of not actively supporting and is difficult to get on.

I only was able to use it one time due to the fact that me pet passed away shortly after receiving the package. It worked well and my husky was able to do all of his business without soiling the harness. The instructions were a little difficult to understand until I realized that the second strap was to be held together with the first strap to help give a better lifting boost from under the tail area and lower back pelvis. The whole setup is adjustable if your dog is larger or a little smaller so there is a little leeway and the design allows them to do al of their business without soiling the harness. I am sad to have lost my pet but am glad to have found a product that may have made her life a little more comfortable. I donated this to my local veterinarian clinic along with other items and they where happily ecstatic to receive them.

I love EVERYTHING about this product. We ordered it the day after our 20 pound miniature poodle, Winston, collapsed after trying to jump on the couch. His back legs were and are still paralyzed. He was diagnosed with IVDD. The first day after the diagnosis, my husband and I had to hold our dog's back legs up while he went to potty. My husband ordered this harness and it was here about a day later. It is perfect for Winston and for us as the caregivers. It goes on simply (once you study the paper that comes with it and watch the video), and the support it gives is amazing! When this injury first happened, my first thought was "how I am going to do this alone???" Well, this harness makes it possible. It's easy to clean Winston's bottom with one hand while supporting him with the harness with the other hand. I do not know what I would have done without this genius product!!! Thank you, ROZKITCH! This is an amazing product. I lay the harness down with the patch on the handle that has ROZKITCH on it facing me (where I can read it, not upside down), and I put it flat on the floor. The solid blue leg holes side should be facing up. Put Winston's legs in the holes, buckle it up, and we're good to go.

The workmanship was great, and I was able to easily lift my old dog's rear end to help him walk, but he absolutely hated it. As soon as I put it on him and helped to lift him up, he would just walk around in circles aimlessly. I would have to hold up the harness with one hand and try to direct him by the collar with my other hand. He was a 65 lb, large breed dog, so this was not easy. And I have a bad back, so I was also worried about getting hurt while trying to help him walk. If you have a dog that's more agreeable, this harness would probably work great because it was good quality and made of heavy, strong material. My dog (and I) found it awkward and it wasn't helpful for him.

I was hoping the large would fit but it didn’t. Was awkward to put on and with a dog who can’t move it’s almost impossible to get on legs.

Great for what it is intended for assisting with the back end. My dog measured for small and it is quite a lot bigger. Too bad there was not an XS. He is a French Bulldog so I thought he would fit.Overall it's what I need and he is able to do his business, whereas belly slings would get in the way of urinating.

The came to me today when I open it no instructions the product looks like it has been used and doesn't look like the pictures at all the straps are not even put on the right spot they are too close no padding at all like it says in the handle and even the picture makes it look like the leg straps have a little something to them but guess they went cheap I want a refund

Unfortunately Didn't get to use this product to long as my boy lost full functionality of his back legs... it will help for extra support. Just not in my case :(
