I love Robert Welch knives. I was bought a set for my 50th birthday - and they are still going strong. They are the sharpest knives I have used. I tend to wash them by hand rather than put them through the dishwasher. Expensive possibly, but are a really good knife - highly recommended.

Quality product in terms of build quality, weight in the hand, sharpness and ability to continue to easily sharpen. This one is very much in the utility category. There is a big step down to the 10cm paring knife. Fits well in the top shelf of the Robert Welch bamboo flat knife organiser for those using or considering that.

This was bought as a gift for Christmas - so has not been used yet. I bought it because I had previously bought a larger carving knife as a replacement for one were the handle became detached. I like the feel of that knife and it cuts well.
