The coffee maker arrived in time. It was packed nicely. One thing i really love about this coffee machine is that it comes with a reusable coffee filter. So dont have to buy coffee filter. It also comes with a cute black scoop for your grond coffee. It has instruction manual that tells you how to use it and how to look after it.Its really simple to use. I took it out of the box washed the crafe, filter and filter holder. Pour water into the reservoir. My coffee in the filter and pressed the power button and it started brewing straight away. This coffee maker also has a warming plate so it keeps your coffee warm for hours. Its super easy to clean.I tried making loose tea in it too and it taste good. So its not just for coffee tea lovers can use it too.Absolutely love this coffee maker and would Recommend it to my friends and family.

This is the most simple a coffee maker can be. One on/off toggle switch. Nothing computerized. Makes a rich cup of coffee and the filter is reusable. If all you want to do is pour in water, add coffee grounds and turn it on, this is for you. No confusing push buttons or dials. Has a warming plate to keep coffee hot, but DON'T FORGET TO TURN IT OFF. The only thing I may have wanted is an Auto OFF feature. Good product for the price.

Attractive, Perfect Size for us, makes a good tasting pot of coffee ! Ran water through the process twice before actually brewing with coffee grounds, like the filter basket although I added my brown filter which makes it easier to empty the grounds, happy with it so far and happy with the price. No auto shut off which I knew prior to purchasing but it's easy enough to remember to shut off the red lighted switch and unplug the cord at the same time.UPDATE: 7 weeks into use, Glass Carafe has a huge Crack and I don't have a return option.

However, it looks clean and simple. Due to it's no frills design, it also takes less counter space where you place itFILTER:--------The Best I've used on a re-usable segment. Simply filters more of the grounds and rarely leaves sediments at the bottom of the Pot.FEATURES:-------------None, and I am glad to say that is a very good thing. It's a straightforward machine with one switch. Turn it on and the coffee starts brewing. Usually takes about 3-5 minutes (depending on how much water is being used).HOT PLATE - Once brewed, the hot plate remains ON until the coffee maker is manually turned off. A feature that some may prefer while others may not. I tend to finish my coffee in a short time span, hence I did not have to worry about the hot plate burning it.SETTINGS - There are No special user settings for the boldness. The only way to control this factor is by either adding or reducing the coffee grounds being used to brew. This takes a bit of trial and error.TIMER - NO Delayed Brew Options available. So you won't be scheduling your morning brew. However it only takes 2 minutes of work in the morning to start the brewing process. For that reason, I highly doubt anyone would miss it.FLAVOR:----------Contrary to what many expensive coffee makers on the market lead you to believe, there isn't much science behind making a perfect cup of joe. If your grounds are fresh, the resulting coffee will be better tasting. The machine plays a very minuscule role in the overall flavor.The temperature brewed is just right. Neither too hot or warm. I find the coffee very bold and simple. Tasted just as good as my other expensive Coffee makers in the house (Keurig K525 and Ninja CP301)VALUE:---------For the asking price, the coffee maker simply can't be beat. It is easy to use and straight to the point. No need to take special care other than the daily Filter and Karafe wash.

It is much smaller than our previous one, that broked down after a year of use and was much more expensive. This one is very simple, there not much buttons to press, just on and off lol.I am very light sleeper and my husband gets up at 4 am to make his coffee, before the smell of it always woke me up but it wasn't my time to get up, this one closes very tight so you basically you don't smell aroma of the coffee around the house but I find the coffee has more flavor. Happy overall.

The coffee tastes great and it was easy to use, but it broke in less than a year. The coffee also burned very easily.

I've been using the Gourmia for a couple of weeks and it meets all my expectations. It's hard to find a decent unit with a 10 cup capacity. Most coffee makers seem to be 12-cup (too large) or 4-cup (too small). My wife and I both like coffee, but some mornings, we get up at different times. So the trick was to find a unit that could make 5 or 10 cups. (We like to drink from mugs so the "5 cup" is actually 2 large mugs.)Back to the Gourmia: The unit is not excessively large so it doesn't demand a lot of counter space, and, it seems incredibly well made. The carafe is a very solid thick glass and the plastic components of the device are also thick and durable. There are water level markings on the carafe and on the right side of the maker. And, it takes the cone shaped filters which I believe are more efficient than the flat-bottomed style.Overall, a great coffee maker for the price!

Only used it twice; so far, so good. Sits well next to my Keurig. Compact and nice looking. Light to move back and forth.... as with most cabinets, they are too low to fill water without moving them forward. Coffee tastes good. Am new to Amazon. Okay with this...delivery is great.
