Update: July 31, 2025 I wish I would have remembered to update this year's ago because I am bumping the rating back up to 5 stars. The charger never fully stopped working, we just had to rotate the charging face with the port. So this STILL works SIX YEARS LATER! Also, another huge bonus is that Garmin was smart and I was able to use this charger when we purchased a Vivoactive 6. Didn't have to worry about buying a new base (it comes with a cord, but we like the charging base). So it still works just had an odd occurrence with charging at one point years ago, but no issues with it since. Works great and use it for the brand new Vivoactive 6 watch. Original: August 6, 2019 Bought for my wife's vivoactive 3 and for eight months it has worked perfectly. She has loved how nice it is to take off her watch and place it on the ease of use stand. It was much better than using the cord that originally came with the watch. Even though the watch only needs to be charged about once a week or so, she still felt that having the stand was nicer, more convenient, and made sure the watch didn't fall off the night stand. However, it has recently started to malfunction and will not charge her watch at all. It will keep it from turning off, but will not charge at all. She has gone back to using the shorter cord, and is bummed that her more convenient stand is no longer working. We cannot try to get an exchange since it hasnt even been a year since we bought the product. So the reason for the 4 star is because the stand didn't last a year, and we cannot get an exchange for a product that should have lasted much longer than a year considering the minimal amount of use (only about once a week for a COUPLE hours).

My Fenix Pro Solar is just incredible — it tracks every metric I could ever want in my quest for physical fitness. Why, then, did Garmin design this very high-end smartwatch to use a charge cable with a flimsy 4-pin connector? I have interrupted the charging cycle on more than one occasion by accidentally knocking the awkwardly placed cable off the back of the watch. Incredibly annoying.... Garmin owners rejoice! The Ezco Charger Dock is a well designed, sturdy alternative to the standard charge cable. The port, which securely snaps into place, elevates the watch out of harm’s way, thus protecting it from knocks and spills. Your Garmin isn’t going anywhere until you purposely detach it. The USB cable even connects to a computer for effortless syncing. I have used this consistently for over a month and have not experienced any problems. Best of all? It’s cheaper and better built than the official Garmin charge cables.

This review is mainly to confirm that it works with the Garmin Instict. Make sure you rotate the charge platform to the 9 o'clock position for the Instinct (instructions on how to do that is in the item description as well as written instructions that come with the stand). I used a double sided adhesive tape to secure the stand to my desktop. The watch clicks in solidly to the charge port and stays secured. The usb is plugged into my computer which allows me to connect to the Garmin Navigation app on my computer, as well as charges the watch. The stand is solid and gives a fairly nice display angle of my watch, great looks and functionality. I've only had it for a few weeks so I cant attest to longterm use, but so far so good. For Garmin Instinct watch owners, this charging stand is a GO 👍

Good item but difficult to use with Garmin Venu X1. The charging port for this watch is next to the band, and in order for the watch to sit on the charger with the watch face oriented correctly, the port on the charger rubs tightly against the band on the watch. This makes it difficult to place the watch on the charger. I've posted a photo of the Venu X1 and the charger together. I also posted a photo of the Garmin S62, which has the port on the side of the watch, vs. next to the band.

Worked great for 51 days on my vivoactive 3. Then I noticed it wasn't charging anymore. The official garmin charging cable works so I'm back to that for now. I will contact the seller and see if they'll replace it, but I don't have my hopes up. It was nice to have a nice watch stand charger for a month and a half I guess. The build of the stand is great. But, if the charger doesn't work it's not very useful. UPDATE: The seller quickly replaced the charger at no cost. No complaints here. HOWEVER, a couple more months later and the replacement has now also died. If that were it I would have left this at 2 stars. I've downgraded to 1 star because my vivoactive was holding a charge for about 2.5 days prior to the charger dying and now holds a charge for maybe 2-3 hours. I'm confident that is not a coincidence. So, I'm moving this to 1 star and now have to go look up the complicated process of changing a battery in a vivoactive 3.

I now have bought 3 of these chargers for my Vivo Active 3. Why 3? Because the first one performed so well when I needed more chargers, I knew this was the product I wanted. I have 2 at home, and now one for my travel bag. The chargers work quickly & I have no problem with plugging in my watch. Since my first charger was bought more than 4 years ago & is still working, this is definitely a quality product.

So far an excellent Smart phone charger. Charges quickly, easy to use, and small enough to take with you when you travel. A great buy for a reasonable price. Update: Unfortunately, this charger quit working after four months—so I would not rate it five stars for being long lasting or endurable.

It’s super convenient when it works but half the time I have to fight to get it on the charger only to find out after it’s been on there for a while that it hasn’t been charging at all.
