The star of the show is the all-new 2500KV brushless motor system and matched servo, powered by a 2200MaH 9.6V rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, capable of running for up to 30 minutes on a full charge. The all-metal differential gears propel the Beast to high speeds of up to 45 KM/H! Foam-filled natural rubber tires feature a ribbed tread in the front to tighten turning radius and steering accuracy, while the aggressive, all-terrain tread on the rear tires grip the trail, torch pavement and tear through the sand and dirt (make sure you blow/clean sand out after use, to keep gears in best condition). The Pro-Style Pistol Grip transmitter has full digital controls with proportional throttle and steering for smooth racing and turning with integrated 2.4 GHz technology allowing up to 12 vehicles to run at the same time. Hence I nearly didn't buy but other 5 stars reviews made me think it was a worth a gamble at only $80. And oh my goodness what a great gamble it turned out to be, basically it's an incredible quality RC for this money (and is actually selling elsewhere at a more realistic $133 price, which would still be a good value imho!) and hence I can't recommend it enough at $80. Technically my son spent his Christmas money on this RC but it's great for any age above perhaps 8 as it's very fast (20mph seems like a conservative estimate to me as it flies along) hence my elder son and I are both begging turns as its so good. If I wanted to pick any criticism perhaps the fact that it's only 2 wheel drive (rear wheels) rather than 4 wheel drive but I don't think you'd get 4 wheel drive for this money/quality and the rear wheel drive does make it great fun spinning the car round making donuts (which my 10 year old loves doing)! So if you're reading this review humming and ahh-ing, don't any more just go for it, as I'm sure you won't regret it, we haven't, so get in quick before they rethink/correct the price (it still seems too good to be true and I have it in my hands after multiple excellent drives!). Review: Great First Truck - I got this truck for my 3 year old. My son and I Race RC on the weekend and my youngest, 3 year old, wanted to join. He loves the truck. I love the durability. The handling is a joke but my 3 year old could care less because it does donuts easily. This is great for a first truck but not good for an RC enthusiast. I am trying to figure out how to fix the handling.
