Nice to have this official Arlo product to charge my back-up batteries for my Arlo 5s cameras. Comes with AC plug and base station that charges 2 Arlo batteries simultaneously. This should charge the Arlo XL batteries too but check the product description or visit the Arlo site. Rather than take down my cameras when their battery dies, I bought this and back-up batteries to have on deck so that there is no disruption in surveillance. So far no issues and this station is charging my batteries as advertised. I have not taken note of the charging time but again it is charging my batteries to a full charge and the indicator lights for both docks is working correctly. This dock makes things easier - instead of taking the entire camera off the mounting bracket and having to readjust the camera when it’s ready to go back on after charging, all you would do is hit the eject button on the front of the cam to pop the cam and compartment out. Switch the battery, pop it back in, and done in 2 mins without a long delay in surveillance.

This actually charges the Arlo batteries, unlike the fake Chinese ones they sell here on Amazon too. Yes, it's more expensive but man does it charge these batteries like it's on viagara. Go for it. This is the charge you want, pay a few dollars more and you'll be happy with this one. The other chargers for sale on here....you might as well consider sticking an needle in your eye.

Well, after some looking around, I wanted to avoid potential headaches of trying a knock-off brand where I could have saved significant dollars. I just don’t trust some of the off-shore brands for things like quality control and workmanship. This Arlo unit at least comes packaged nicely and the product feels decent but short of impressive quality. There’s nothing super special about this charger other than it works. And it’s still my belief the chances of receiving a unit that works properly and longer are better getting the oem name brand. But really, it’s a simple charger made of plastic, that t least comes with the appropriate wall plug. But, it is significantly over priced and I wouldn’t call this a premium product. I realize the company wants to make profit to progress forward, but man, this is allot of money for a charger of this type, IMO, hence it’s not a 5 star product. It does though work as intended and charged two of my Arlo large batteries at the same time. It has an LED that shines orange during charge and goes green when done, so you clearly know when your batteries are good to go. A nice touch is, no excessive heat was noticed during the charge process. Heat can often be a sign there’s a mismatch in the electronics somewhere. I begrudgingly recommend this to Arlo owners mainly because there seems to be no adequate competitor I would be comfortable recommending. But Arlo should really consider a fair price on this. Lastly, Arlo accessories seem to be hit and miss for availability. I’m in Canada and had to buy from Amazon.com. Not a huge deal, but I wish it would have been available on Amazon.ca or at my local Best Buy store (or even online at Best Buy.ca). So, makes ya wonder about the competence of their marketing and logistics, which beg other questions to consider.

Well made charger for Arlo batteries.

My new dual ARLO charging station works great! I received this today, took two of my outside camera batteries out of their stands, and simply placed them in the charging station. Starts out with a red dot 🔴 and when it is fully charged it turns…..you got it…GREEN! Perfect. It took about three hours to fully charge both batteries, and I have them reinstalled in my cameras tonight. All you do is take the dual charger out of the box and plug it in. Could not be easier. Love this ARLO charger!! Very, very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

Works as advertised, don’t waste time buying cords.

This product always, it seems comes with the wrong power plug for the uk. You will need to buy a seperate 3rd party power supply. Below are the needed specs. 1. 12 volt 2. 3amps 3. Centre positive 4. Make sure the supply comes with a selection of plugs to make sure it fits just in case.

Ordered in UK came with what looks Like a us plug, no adapter. Pretty basic thing to get right. Now have to go through hassle of returning it.
