Pretty & It Does the Job!
Exactly as described and they do the job.The foil is super strong compared to others I have used in the past.I do like how it holds the pods securely and I have less mess that is for sure.Easy to use, just do not tamper it down with fine ground coffee. Make sure to use the measuring tool and leave it at that amount. Otherwise it will clog it.

Not cost effective, but a solid kit
The media could not be loaded. First off, this DOES work with the L'OR Barista machine.I did have to pack the fine grind in, to reach 5g of coffee. The description says 4g max but no way does 4g make a decent shot. 5g was acceptable but took some work to fit that much in there. Here is where my biggest concern occurs. While this, in theory is a great product, the cost effectiveness has me second guessing my purchase. Yes, you can brew your own coffee, your own choice of beans and potentially save some money but when you break it down to the actual specifics, you probably aren't saving any money. Let's use a 16oz brick of Cafe Bustelo, which IMO is a very good pre-ground espresso AND a more affordable option than beans from a coffee house. 454g of coffee in this brick will yield approximately 90 5g shots. That comes out to about $.09 per. The foil lids are about $.06 per. So we are at $.15 using a lower priced, store bought pre-ground coffee. The locally roasted beans I bought, work out to $.15 per 5g so $.21 per shot, including the foil lid. Take into account the cost of your time (labor) to fill each pod, clean each pod, you have already exceeded what you can buy pre-filled pods for. Now, I am sure you may be doing this for environmental reasons too and that is perfectly well and good but if you are doing this to save money, don't because you are not. I am still on the fence whether or not these will be sticking around. Either way, the kit is of good quality and is easy to use.

I agree these are the capsules you want for your original Nespresso machine (if it's supported)!
After tiring of spending too much $ on name brand capsules, and getting mixed results trying many of the varieties of non-Nespresso capsules, I decided to look into reusables. I read through a bunch of different reviews, on multiple listings / brands, and decided to try these Capmesso capsules. I've only brewed about 10 pods total, but I'm already convinced these are great & worthy of the 5 star review.I use a Delonghi Pixie machine (the one with Aluminum sides), and the only problem I've seen is low flow / "dripping", but I've also seen this on plenty of the off brand capsules, so I don't think it's an issue with the capsules, and seems to be more an issue of the grind / amount / tamp.I'm going to experiment with different coffees, but so far I've tried the ground Cafe La Llave & Café Bustelo "bricks" and am having surprisingly good results with both, right off the bat. I've not yet got it as good or better than Nespresso capsules, but I'm confident with a little experimenting, I'll get there very soon. Like ANY great espresso, the key is going to be the right grind, correct amount of grounds, and proper tamp pressure, but the pods themselves work great!I'm going to continue to experiment with different pre-ground coffees, as well as my own grinds, to perfect things, and will try to update this review once I've got things a bit more consistent w/ my machine. Another reviewer suggested buying Nespresso or Starbucks pods to open them up and try to mimic the grind / fill / tamp, and I think that's exactly what I'm going to do next.ALSO OF NOTE: The foil lids leave NO residue and are very easy to remove (two common complaints I've seen on multiple products' reviews).BEFORE YOU BUY (OR AVOID BUYING): There is an image showing supported Nespresso machines, and unless you click through to the last photo, you might not see it. You should visually confirm for yourself your machine is "supported" before using these (or any other brand / style of capsule), but the models listed there are: PIXIE / INISSIA / LATTISSIMA / LATTISSIMA PRO / ESSENZA MINI (2 different varieties) / CITIZ

Great for your body, tastes even better!
These are fantastic pods. They are easy to use and clean, very durable, and they don’t leak at all. I fill them up with Lavvasa espresso grounds or Intenso by Illy. Wonderful to know that there are no plastic pieces in the pods as well.

Easy to Remove
I've tried several brands of foil lids, and these are the ones that I'm rebuying. They fit perfectly, and they're easy to put on. However, more importantly, they come off easily and in one piece. I have had other brands where I would struggle to pick off the glue-ring from my pods. I had a mere two problematic lids with my last pack from CAPMESSO, which gives me the confidence to both reorder and recommend these lids to others.

Foil is just awful, tears apart and makes coffee flavored water.
Not sure what people are on about with these, the foil on these just tears open instead of being punctured when loaded into my confirmed-as-compatible machine, so despite days of trying to get it right all I could ever get was watery not-an-espresso. Total waste of money.

Worked better than I expected!
Okay, this worked pretty well! I was expecting disaster, but hoping for drinkable coffee. Thankfully, I got the latter outcome and not the former.I used my burr grinder to grind fresh medium roast beans to the fineness for espresso. I put 5 g worth of grinds per capsule, tamped them down pretty firmly, and sealed. Did about 10-15 seconds of extraction for each capsule in my Inissia machine. The results from this first try were very drinkable! Not a ton of crema, but I think I can improve on that with future use. The taste was a lot better than the L'Or capsules I had been getting from Amazon.Overall, I think the little stand was unnecessary. I ended up performing the filling operation with the capsule in one hand and the little scooper in the other. However, I guess the stand makes a decent little display instead of just chucking them all in a drawer.
