Underrated. Not well known. Smells "WEALTHY"

This perfume is truly a work of art. It’s commanding and yet soft. Absolutely a bewitching fragrance in a gorgeous bottle. The seller is great in providing fast and safe shipping.

Diva has been my fragrance of choice since the early 80's then stores stopped carrying Ungaro or some of Yves St Laurent fragrances. Found Diva being sold by Avon at one point. Nonetheless, this fragrance is mature and remains with you all day and into the night. I was 32 when I discovered the fragrance, I will be 74 in December. A little bit goes a long way.

This is my second bottle. I'm sure I either wore or smelled this when it was launched in 1983. I was in college and upped my game with this. It's rich smelling and created by a master Jacques Polge for the house of Ungaro. This was Ungaro's first perfume dedicated to women. The name Diva means "Goddess" and it is centered around rose. However, the composition is so exquisitely blended it is difficult to pick out the rose itself. It is a beautiful masterpiece. This is deep, rich, timeless and gorgeous perfume and lasts all day.

Muy buen perfume

I have used Diva for decades. I was thrilled to be able to get it at such a great price on Amazon. Although it smelled so close I chose not to notice any difference, I did take note after 3+ purchases that the scent doesn't last as eau de parfum does. Then I noticed that the red triangular label is always askew. The next aberration is that the decorative bottle top does not fit from bottle to bottle, hmmmm... Does that mean I must have a "buyer beware" outlook on Amazon? I have bought goods from well known and trusted discounters in NYC since 1960 and before including: Kleins on the Square, Century Twenty-One and Daffys (Daffy Dan's.) They all were consistent in that their tags showed the true msrp and the real name brand. These discounters had/have mostly European (made in Europe) goods. So getting a discount doesn't flag something as bogus, but now I can't believe in the authenticity of Amazon's peddling of authentic Diva.

I smelled this on a client and asked what it was. It is a very deep fragrance with staying power. At first impression I did not like it but as it dried down it mixed with my chemistry and became very nice. It reminds me of lancome magi noir in its complexity. It only takes one small spray for the whole day and the sillage is office worthy.

I first bought this perfume from a gorgeous little village around Lake Como while on holiday.. each time I wear it, it takes me back to that precious time in my life. Just love it!
