Our daughter begged for a hoverboard for her 6th birthday. So we ordered this and bought a Jetson seat attachment for safety and indoor use. She loves it! I do feel like battery usage is better if she rides it (48lbs) vs me (169lbs) I was having to ride it with her to teach her and it would last about 25-30 minutes. Now that she knows how to operate she hasn't had to charge it in a few days... I guess momma needs to lay off the chips and salsa 😂 🤷‍♀️

It's fun, but is not recommended for commute.

Had to take a star off because it was one of those items that appears it’s being sent from Amazon in the US but then ends up being shipped from Canada. So look closely at the seller information! It took 4 days longer than the original deliver by date which made it too late for my sons birthday. Very disappointed with that. The hoverboard itself seems to be sturdy and he was able to hop on right away and ride around on it. It seems well made and worked well. I’ll update the post with any issues if they arise.

Got this for my son's 10th birthday! He just turned 11.It has been wonderful! He has loved it!Many many hours of use. Several wrecks. LolI can only speak for our experience- but it has done everything it was supposed to!I understand there can be defects in any product. Ours works perfectly!

11/13/21 review update:My kids still use these almost daily. They have been left out in the rain/frost and I would bring them in, let fully dry and come to room temp, and plug it in—no issues. Regarding my comment about the balancing, my kids very quickly got the hang of it. They are pros in fact, doing crazy tricks as if it was second nature to them. They don’t need protection anymore, but for beginners I’d recommend it still.——This is a review of the SISIGAD Hoverboard, 6.5" Two-Wheel Self Balancing Hoverboard - Black Gray. I bought another color for my daughter as well but it's the same model so the review will apply to all colors. I don't have a lot of experience with other hoverboards so I can only tell you my opinion of these in particular. My kids love them. They go pretty quickly, you're able to do some cool spinny tricks with them, but it's a fun toy for travel even up the sidewalk and such. I do recommend getting a helmet, elbow and knee guards, and perhaps even hand guards as your kids will very very likely fall and hurt themselves as both of mine did even though they are good at balancing on these. The battery life is pretty bad--30 minutes or so of constant use. For this reason I removed a star. It has bluetooth functionality--once you power it on, check your device's bluetooth settings and you'll see it there. I recommend using an actual speaker or headphones if you want to listen to music with these, but the option is there and is worth mentioning. I would like to see the battery life improve on future models, otherwise this is a great toy that my kids use every day.

Kids picked this up straight away; they love it. My only complaint is when you step off it goes into a violent death spin and has got major scuff marks on it from this! Not to mention if it hits your ankles during this spin, it hurts!
