This was easy to setup and install with our homeseer system
We have had to adjust the settings so it stops eating batteries. We turned the light level setting down considerably so it doesn't report motion during the day and batteries are lasting much longer. (so far about 6 months)I see a lot of reviews about the IP rating of this device, but I don't really plan to have it floating around in a lake, and I have a lot of outdoor devices that aren't IP rated which seem to be doing just fine...this has been set up for about a month during some of the worst weather of the year and there are zero signs of any issues with it.I left all the internal settings for this at the factory default. But on the back there are two adjustable knobs settings that absolutely must be adjusted, if they don't get changed then this will spend its time going off and will run through batteries very quickly.I have also read conflicting reviews on the behavior of this device. On my Homeseer system, with the two controls on the back of the device set to "middleish" settings, this does not detect motion during the day light hours. But works exactly like I expect after sunset, detecting motion when anything wanders by. (Like the local Fox who sniffs around our house from time to time)When setting this device up with my Zwave system, I had to do a factory reset to get it to properly include. The first attempt failed the security protocols. Otherwise setup was painless. So unless or until something go "wrong" with this device, 5 stars.

Great for My Application, Could be Stronger on Instructions
Counter to some reviews, the housing DOES have a gasket protecting against the elements. It's clear and difficult to see, but it's there.Counter to the listed specifications, both of mine have a range of about 15 feet, not 30.For my installation, it works perfect. I have had it installed a few weeks and to my surprise, I haven't experienced a single false even though one if them is located in front of an outdoor ceiling fan which spins with the wind. They were easy to directly pair with my Samsung SmartHub without an additional proprietary app. I found a link on YouTube to install a driver to add additional functionality, but that wasn't necessary for my application. The settings are a bit wonky and the included instructions aren't great at explaining what they do.I have it set to trigger outdoor lights to turn on late at night when we're in bed to act as centry, so to speak, if someone approaches my back doors. If they continue to be reliable and false free, I will enroll them into my zwave home security system.

A great motion detector for outdoor use
I've had bad luck with outdoor sensors; three different ones failed me. The Zooz outdoor model seems so far to be the charm. You have to read the documentation carefully, and in particular BE SURE that if you're using this with a Z-wave hub that will control Lux and motion sensitivity, that you turn the two adjustment screws at the bottom of the ball part of the detector clockwise at least a solid full turn. If you don't turn these, the factory setting puts the unit in test mode and the sensor light will continue to come on, which will run down the battery. If you do it right, the unit detects motion without any light coming on, and the battery lasts much longer. If you use this outside, be sure to rotate the ball part down a bit so you don't get water drops on the lens, and try to avoid having a lot of water pouring on it.

Took a chance on this--happy I did.
I have use 19 (of seven different types) of motion sensors with Smartthings. Of these 19, five are outside. I already had 4 of the (discontinued) Bosch PIR models (ISW-ZPR1-WP13). They are VERY low cost, pet sensitive and work great. And the battery life is great. But, they are big and ugly (which I guess is not an issue for outside the home. I also had to put them in a casing since they are not designed for external use. I needed a fifth outside sensor (and since Bosch was no longer available), I bought the Ecolink (PIRZWAVE2.5-ECO). I also took a shot on the Zooz model. So far, I REALLY like it. It is attractive. Has sensitivity options (if you install the ST device handler) and a rotating sensor head. The instructions on the Zooz website are great! I am not certain on battery life. I plan to hardwire electric power to it this summer, so I do not have to change batteries. Given it is for outside use, I really wish it had pet sensativity.

Good. Motion sensor
Not easy to pair but Works with Adobe Gateway for my outdoor automation with my Abode Bulb

Bon détecteur de mouvement
Fonctionne très bien, mais la portée est un peu courte, bien que ça évite de détecter les mouvements dans la rue.

So far so good.
Setup was pretty easy, I don't recall whether I needed to add special device handler within my controller (Home Assistant + aeotec z-wave stick) but if you have an extensive z-wave network you will know that having to do so is fairly routine. The device is easy to mount and is as responsive as I need for my particular application. At the two week point post installation I couldn't be happier with how this integrates into my home automation system.

Plug and Play without the Plug part..... (battery)
The sensor worked right out of the box exactly as expected. Had to remember to take it out of test mode after setup but that is an end user issue :-)

Works well
Using two of these with Home Assistant and zwave JS. Printed instructions could be clearer but Zooz support online is very helpful.Note that these can be use doors but they are NOT weatherproof. The instructions warn you that they must be mounted in a sheltered location.
