Olson Saw APG72680 AllPro PGT Band 3-TPI Hook Saw Blade, 1/2 by .025 by 80-Inch

I used this blade to cut wet logs in to boards for drying. This works the best so far for my old craftsman band saw. I tried a skip tooth blade, but that got bogged down. This one can keep going for many cuts. Eventually I didn’t have to take a wire brush to the teeth to clean off the pulp from the soft wood.

The box came. I ordered 80 inches. The box said 80 inches. Excited, I tore open the box and unsprung the blade, throwing out the box. Then I got sidetracked. A month later, I tried to install the blade. It was the wrong size. Obviously the box was mislabeled, and I received an 82.5 inch blade. I donated it to Habitat for Humanity and they are using it to trim houses for poor people. They say it is an excellent blade. I went to my local woodcraft and bought a blade that fits.

Cuts right through Mahogany 6” rough sawn smoothly.

I bought this blade after trying to resaw some 1" Ash for sailboat battens using a new blade from Sears. I had to push the stock so hard that the blade would not track straight, even after flattening and adjusting the guides, the battens were not of uniform thickness. This blade worked much better! Nice, easy, straight cuts without stressing the saw, guides or me. A good sharp blade makes a world of difference!

Did what it was meant to.

I have a 12 inch craftsman saw and I was having a horrible time cutting a straight line but once I replaced the old blade with this 1/2 inch blade it cut like it should. I will buy another when I need another blade. This product made my day.
