I've used one of these about 2 months now. For the price I've been very pleased. As far as image quality, I'm skeptical about the fawn photo for this product listing actually being from this cam, but daylight shots are quite good and night ones not too bad. I'm attaching one of each. The puma is about 6' from the camera; the bobcat about 8'. Although many of these companies/cams recommend against it, I've been using a mix n match set of standard rechargeable AAs and I've been getting at least 10 days out of them--and these are winter temps with lows in the teens. Menu is intuitive and settings are decent for this type of camera. Love that this camera uses a standard SDHD card; between charges I just hike down to the cam and swap out cards if I'm too impatient about what I might have 'caught.'UPDATE 12.21.19: I just converted this camera over to an external 6v power supply, and just noticed that the external power jack/opening goes through the hinged front cover; upshot: you have to disconnect the plug to open or close the cover and access the internal controls, memory card, etc.. This might not be a problem except that, for whatever reason, you sometimes have to power off and then on to get the camera correct set in the "on" mode. And obviously you can't do that without the cover being open and having to unplug it. Problem was easily solved by clipping the plastic around the opening in the cover so that plug could remain 'plugged in' while the cover was opened/closed. This won't be weatherproof/waterproof, but I'm not real concerned since the plug is on the bottom of the unit. PS: to use with external 6v power, I used my own wire, connected a couple of spade plugs to the end that would fit an Expertpower 6v 4.5A battery. For the camera end, I bought a set of 10 'Sscon 10pcs Male DC Power Connector 3.5mm x 1.35mm Cable Jack Adapter Connector Plug for CCTV Security Camera' which have screw-in terminals for your wire. This connector fits the camera jack perfectly and you're good to go without having to worry about AA batts.

Already have deer on this camera. Picture quality is great. Easy mounting to a tree. Works in cold weather. Great. Bought enigizer lithium battery s. My favorite thing about it is you can view the pictures right on the tree and don’t have to take it off. Overall I would highly recommend this. I will be buying more for more hunting spots. Good buy!!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I've owned several different brands of trail cameras with less mp than this so-called 30mp and had better clarity. This is nowhere close to being a 30mp 4K camera. I tried all the different combinations of settings, emailed customer support and they suggested setting it on 20mp. Um, but I bought a 30mp camera. Also, there is NO sound on the video, even when the video sound was set to the on position. On a positive note, it was easy to set up, liked that it takes a full-size SD card and that you can see exactly where the camera is seeing. Don't waste your money! Look elsewhere! Highly disappointed!

I bought one of these cameras with hesitation. The name alone makes you wonder. I was extremely surprised at the packaging up front. Very premium, not unlike a new cell phone. Proof is in the pudding, so put a memory card and batteries in it, set it to snap 2 pics and 10 seconds of video and strapped it to a tree beside my driveway under a pin oak. I was blown away by the pics and video after 2 days! Night and day, it took clear pics and video to at least 35 yards. I could read the license plate of every car coming up my driveway, day and night! Deer were oblivious to the camera, even though it is a low glow. Don't fool yourself that you have to have no glow or you will spook game. A myth. I was so impressed I just bought 4 more. I've owned a variety of cameras over the years and this on if far superior. A color LCD...crazy! At the price point, worth taking a chance. Don't gripe about no memory card or batteries. They are cheap. Get 16mb minimum on SD card. 10 seconds of video is ~500kb. I'll see what long term does, but impressed out of the box

I don't write many product reviews unless it's justified. I purchased an APEMAN 30 MP trail cam in January 2020 and as specified in the product information they mentioned that some info and packaging was mixed up and if you had any problems, just contact them and they would do what ever it takes to make it right.Let me just tell you that I received the cam and when I installed the batteries and started to program it I realized that I had received a 20MP Instead of a 30MP 4K.I contacted customer service VI email and explained my problem. No questions asked other than we are sorry and will make it right.A week later I had a new APEMAN 30MP 4K with we are sorry and if there is anything else we can do just contact us. This has restored my faith in product and customer service, I have been hunting for 40 years and my son guides. We put out 20 cams every year and this cam takes the best pictures by far and the ,02 trigger speed is to die for.I replace about 5 cams every year, Mr. APEMAN you have a new customer. Thank you for restoring my faith in the customer service and quality we expect from a company... USA!!!!

This camera has amazing picture quality. The motion detection / PIR is questionable as it takes a lot of picture sequences of Nothing, I think it's just too sensitive. The battery life is horrible, that's why I've reduced the stars. I take a lot of pictures, but the batteries lasted less then a month, my Moultries last 3. That said, this camera was cheap. I've had it in the field just about a month. It doesn't feel as well made, but only time will tell if it lasts. With this price and picture quality is worth buying rechargeable batteries and replacing frequently. This is a really good camera, if battery life isn't a must for you.
