This extra-fine, European style transparent watercolor, known for its purity, permanence and brilliance, preserves the brush handling qualities inherent in Japanese watercolor techniques. Because it contains no oxgall, animal by products or other dispersing agents, Holbein watercolor moves slowly, allowing for greater color density and brush control. It has a creamy texture that remains smooth when dry and will not crack, crumble, chip or mold in the palette. To use, simply fill the wells of a palette with the desired color, permit to dry, then wet the color as if it were a pan color. Good in-between gray
This is a very nice gray saves a lot of mixing and is just enough off-white to take away the stark contrast when you need it, provides consistency when you don’t mix enough!

Welcoming in Autumn
I wasn't sure about these kinds of colors but this is a wonderful addition to my Autumn watercolor palette. Starting to collect fall colors and this fits perfectly.

I've included this color in my main set, it's a color I make myself often so to have it pre-made is great! It's very pigmented and a little goes a long way so definitely a good value.

Great color and texture.
I'm just discovering these paints. They have a softer pastel that I like. This one is a good color for sagebrush in my landscape.
