A bargain plenty of porridge for a great price
I am very fortunate mine arrived yesterday and now seeing its out of stock. Wasn't sure what to expect in the box but you actually get 4 x boxes of 8 porridge sachets (that's 32 porridge sachets) plus 5 porridge pots, so I am very pleased with this Gym box definitely a bargain - hope you get more in stock for other people in this current situation

Good value high protein breakfast
I can't believe some nugget complained because it spilt out of his bowl. Hmm.. now let me think. Oh, I know. I'll use a bigger one!! I only paid about 8 quid and this has been an excellent purchase. A quick and good value way to get a protein rich breakfast. Only downsides are the golden syrup flavour is very sweet, and portions aren't huge. I'll definitely be buying again.

Nice-ish
I found these to be very similar to other porridge sachets where you add milk / water to the sachets to make the porridge. I may be doing it wrong, but I always seem to make a mess when adding the liquid to the porridge, it’s also a little awkward to mix in the sachet. Once made, the texture is fine and also a good quantity but there is a slight tinge of a protein powder type of taste to the porridge, which isn’t so good. I think this product is great if you need extra protein but perhaps I’ll stick to the “normal” ones.

Gimmicky sachets resulting in non-recyclable waste, and the contents boil over in the microwave
You get a mixture of sachets and pots in this box. First the sachets. The idea here is that you tear open the sachet, pour the contents in a bowl, pour 190ml of milk into the empty sachet which has a measuring line, pour into the bowl, mix and microwave. This gimmick of using the sachet to measure milk means of course that the sachet has a plasticky lining, so is presumably not recyclable (there is certainly no indicator anywhere that it is). Get a small measuring jug. Or play it by ear and add a little more if the result is too thick. It only takes a couple of times of making it to be able to eyeball it thereafter. Secondly, the contents boil over in the microwave and make a complete mess (it's not even as if the level of the contents is anywhere near the top of the bowl, there is a good inch or more difference). The pots require filling with boiling water to the line (I'm not sure why they made the sachets to require milk but the pots to only require water, seems odd to me, especially when Quaker make other sachets with dried milk which only require water). They appear to be recyclable unlike the sachets. Both the sachets and pots also include soy protein among the ingredients. Extra protein certainly seems to help with keeping you fuller for longer, but I would say that it is mildly to the detriment of the taste. It's not a bad taste, it's just relatively speaking not as good as regular oats in my opinion.
