Chicco Baby Hug 4 in 1 Meal Kit | Highchair Tray & Cleanable Terry Cloth Cover

Great tray for the cot transition to highchair. Have found it very easy to clean and even bolognese and curry stains come right off, without using an abrasive sponge/brush. Most of these stains have come out of the terry cloth cover too in a low temp wash in the machine.

After several months of using the Chicco system as a sleeper, we moved onto using the highchair system. Buying the tray and cover were brilliant additions. I would definitely recommend the cover as it protects the cot / chair from becoming soiled.

Always check any damage before you set up the feeding table. It comes with terry towel cover but should be waterproof for easy to wipes down instead of washing all the time.

Great addition... live the washable cover and the tray sits great and is a really good size... highly recommended

We absolutely love the 4in1. Our best baby buy for sure. It’s so versatile.The meal kit is good overall, easy to assemble, tray is big. However the cover never stays on for us as it slips off when trying to put baby in. The straps are slightly awkward too and don’t fit around baby very well in highchair position. She can easily move about. We have now removed the Terry cover completely as it just made it too awkward.Overall we are happy with it. Probably not the best highchair out there but as the 4in1 is such a versatile product, we are so happy with all its uses. When baby gets a bit bigger, I’m sure the highchair will be much better for us. She’s just 6 months now.

I returned as I thought this was a chair and its just an add on. Looked to buy the chair and it was way too over priced

I was so excited when this kit came out. We bought the hug so that we could keep on using it for longer than just a bedside crib. Having an additional cover and tray making the seat even more handy seemed fantastic.However, the reality hasn't quite lived up to this useful and novel idea.It covers the seat ok and the middle support keeps wriggly diners in one place. The tray fits into the connectors for the mobile, which is clever, but it is quite difficult to remove the tray for washing.The cover is like a terry-like fabric with waterproof backing which has bobbled at the feet area really quickly. The cover is just like a fitted sheet, with elastic round the edges. Generally, it works ok although has occasionally come loose. It would be much better if there was some extra Velcro or way of attaching the seat part of the cover closer to the chair as it can just wrap around the occupant (making a decent sized chair appear rather small). The holes for the straps do have extra thick backing for support.Disappointingly, the cover is hand wash only.As I say, the kit is great to change the crib to a high chair, but not very practical for daily use as you can only buy the one cover with the tray. It would be great if you could buy another cover on its own so you had one ready to go between washing. Otherwise, you are waiting for the cover to dry to use it again for the next mealtime the following day!Overall, it is great if, like us we are short on space and wanted to keep using the hug. We like the hug as you can sit the little one up for feeding, or just recline it one notch if they get a little tired and need a break. But, as with the rest of the Chicco add-on packs, at £29 you are not far off the price of buying a cheap but decent high chair separately.
