Wwe: Cm Punk - Best In The World [DVD]

Having been a CM Punk fan for so long, I didn't hesitate to buy this DVD. Simply put, it lives up to all expectations. It may just about be the greatest documentary of a wrestler that WWE Home Video has ever released. There's a rich variety of guest speakers, so many honest truths, a quality presentation and above all else, a most captivating subject. Complete with an excellent assortment of deleted scenes, and the best WWE matches of CM Punk - against Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, John Morrison, Chris Jericho and John Cena - this is truly one of the most essential packages that wrestling fans can afford to own. CM Punk is not only the best in the world, his DVD is as well!

Although I'm sure that there is some form of revisionist history here, let's face it WWE don't really know how to do things any other way, this is still an incredibly interesting and enjoyable DVD. Punk does seem to be a more private individual but he has been remarkably open here which has made for great viewing. Its his easy charm and sense of humour carries the whole thing and he seems never short of a take that will both inform and/or entertain. Great buy at a great price.

One of WWE's best DVD superstar documentaries, as CM Punk discusses the demons in his personal life before moving on to his time in ROH and the independent scene before moving onto his start in WWE. Here we found out more as to what would eventually lead to the infamous pipebomb promo in June of 2011 after almost two years of losing at every pay per view (apparently due to a confrontation with The Undertaker in mid 2009, which unsurprisingly is not mentioned here). This also includes some of CM Punks best matches including the great TLC match with Jeff Hardy at SummerSlam 2009, the classic WWE Championship match with John Cena from Money in the Bank 2011 and a terrific match with Daniel Bryan from Over the Limit 2012.

This is the best WWE release in along time. I'm more into wrestling from the late 80's early 90's but recently started seeing some on telly again. I liked Punks attitude so I decided to try the dvd. It's a great documentary you can see from other reviews what he talks about but this really does feel as if he was able to discuss all the things he wanted to and without being censored by the WWE. Most of the time you see these dvds and everyone just feeds you what Vince would like to hear but on this dvd it's as if he left everyone alone to tell there own stories. Very interesting and well worth a watch, Punk is very fair and seems very honest in his comments.

The content and matches are good but the main draw is the documentary on punk he comes across a decent guy. I was aware of his stuff and heard lots of good things but best on the world? Na he imitates Jericho. Y2J did it decade before bro, overrated wrestler but decent chap.

The Hype Around This DVD Were Correct, it Gives a Great Insight Into His Life and Being in the WWE Something Only previously seen in Brock Lesnars Autobiography. Disc 1 Features the documentary along with 3 pages full of Extras Dic 2 & 3 Feature CM Punk's Favourite Matches, Overal a Great DVD For Any Pro Wrestling Fan.

as a fan of the wwe for years back as child i was a stone cold fan then when time came for him to leave edge was the next and the same happened with him he had to leave so cm punk was the next one to follow his work in the wwe i been i a fan of punk since the wwe's revamped ecw. this is the best doc i've seen of any wwe superstar of yesteryear or to day, As punk is not fake and borders on the blunt truth and the hard work to the top also that you can make anything happen if you really want it

I feel I must be honest and say I might be a little bit biased as I am a CM Punk fan dating back to his debut in WWE's version of ECW so I what I may say may be subjective. However Punk and the other contributors to the DVD are honest and don't resort to keeping kayfabe. As a result the documentary is very informative and I'd recommend it to a non-fan as it introduces why so many people are fans of pro wrestling. The extras are great, especially the deleted scenes. I thoroughly recommend this DVD

Je recommande pour tous les fans de CM Punk, il n'y a pas tout les grands matchs répertorié dans ce DVD (donc un peu déçu), mais ça reste un bon DVD.

Great Bluray! Even if you bought the DVD the special features included on the Blu Ray edition is enough to buy it again. Amazing documentary and amazing wrestler!

Si eres un aficionado a CM Punk debes de tener este documental, sin dar spoilers, no lo dejan a un punto que años después se vea desactualizado, además tiene varios extras y luchas importantes. Bastante recomendado para quien le gusta el trabajo y personalidad de CM Punk

Das Best In The World DVD Set von CM Punk ist ohne Zweifel eine der besten Produktionen die im Jahr 2012 veröffentlicht wurden. Ich würde sogar noch weiter gehen und behaupten das es eine der besten WWE DVD`s überhaupt ist, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Wie bei solchen Produktionen üblich besteht dieses Set aus 3 DVD`s. Auf Disc 1 befindet sich eine fast 2 Stündige Dokumentation über die Karriere von CM Punk. Ich finde diese Doku ist wirklich hervorragend gelungen und gibt einen wirklich guten überblick über das Leben von Phil Brooks. Erstaunt hat mich hierbei das Bildmaterial aus Punks Indie Zeit. Es kommt schliesslich nicht oft vor das die WWE Material verwendet, das nicht ihnen gehört. Aber ohne dieses Material würde der geneigte Zuschauer auch garnicht verstehen wer dieser CM Punk eigentlich ist, und wie groß seine Bedeutung schon in der Indie Szene war. Traditionell befindet sich auf Disc 2 und 3 eine Ausfall, der besten Matches von CM Punk. Es befinden sich 11 Matches auf den beiden Discs, die der geneigte Fan wirklich gesehen haben muss. Epische schlachten und Historische Matches gegen Leute wie John Cena, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy usw. wissen einfach nur zu begeitern. Mich hat es jedenfalls begeistert und somit kann ich nur einen absolute Kaufempfehlung aussprechen. Fans die Technisches Wrestling auf hohem Niveau mögen, sollten sich dieses DVD Set nicht entgehen lassen.

2014年開けて間もなく、WWEをリリースされたCM PUNK様。レンタルで視聴して、元より好きだった彼の魅力に改めて骨抜きにされてしまい購入。 3枚組の大ボリュームで眼福。ファンなら押さえておきたい名盤です。 DISK-1 関係者と共に半生を振り返っています。企画ものとはいえ、名指しで批判されている方もインタビューに応じ、あまつさえ彼への称賛を惜しまない胆力に脱帽。 業界を震撼させたPIPE BOMB(マイク爆弾)もその前後を知ると感慨深いです。 DISK-2 まるっと試合。インディ時代からECWデビュー戦、ジョン・モリソンとの王座戦、コフィ・キングストンとのタッグ戦、祭典でのマネバン戦、ウィリアム・リーガルとのIC王座戦と盛り沢山の内容。アオリも収録されていてお得感up DISK-3 余すところなく試合。やはりアオリがありがたい。ジェフ・ハーディとのTLC戦、レイ・ミステリオとの髪切りマッチ、そして、名勝負の呼び声高い対ジョン・シナとのWWE王座戦、WM28のクリス・ジェリコとのWWE王座防衛戦(抗争時の酔っ払いの名演技も収録して欲しかった！w)、インディー時代からの盟友ダニエル・ブライアンとのこれまた王座防衛戦とこちらも見応え充分。 結局のところWWE側は、再三彼が訴えていたことは改善する気配もなく、あまつさえ解雇とは、小うるさい厄介者を排除したと捉えられても反論できないでしょう。その結果、今現在どう贔屓目にみてもショーの質は低下しています。視聴歴ほんの数年のにわかである私すらそう思うことしきりですが、アティテュード時代をご存じの方は、こんなの屁でもない、って感じなんでしょうねw 恨み節はこのくらいにしてw、内容は申し分ないですが、欲を言えばBlu-rayでリリースして欲しかったorz
