Rogue Starter Acoustic Guitar Black

I was really surprised by the quality of this guitar given that bought it for just $30. The strings are great too.

Got this as a gift for someone. It's a great little guitar for someone to starting out.Most people don't follow through with the commitment it takes to learn an instrumentand the low price is worth paying for something that is most likely going to sit in a corner for the rest of it's days.Works well for adult or child as it is easy on the fingers. The neck may be a little on the large size for a small child.Not happy with the customer service from the Musicians Friend, Music 123,and Guitar Center chain that sold and shipped it. They have a lot of bait and switch tactics.And don't always have or ship what you order.

Decent starter guitar. Needed new strings after 2 years but that's normal!

I have no idea what the 1-star reviewer is talking about. You simply will not find a better starter guitar for the price. Like I would with almost any guitar, I re-strung it as soon as I got it with better quality strings. This is a 3/4 scale guitar, and I bought it for my daughter who is learning how to play. She loves it and her teacher was also really impressed with the quality (both sound quality and construction). I also bought a full-size Rogue guitar for myself. i have nothing but good things to say about these guitars.

This guitar came quickly, and arrived in perfect shape. It's as beautiful in person as online. I bought this for my 23 year old daughter who wants to learn to play. The smaller size is a great fit for her.

I did get what I ordered but hope when my son opens it and starts using it, that it will be well worth it. I did hear it was a great starter guitar. thanks for fast delivery.

Scratched and unable to figure out how to really get a refund

Update: 4-23-19 I've been playing this guitar for 6 1/2 years and I'm still in love with it as a daily driver. Buying this guitar really got me back into playing and I use it at least 4 times a week to play for my kids before bed. I have since installed an under saddle piezo pickup and a side mount preamp. Somehow by doing this it improved the low end of the guitar. I have a brand name dreadnought and between the two, I prefer this one. Still very happy with this purchase and I have another on order (natural finish this time).Almost all the reviews I've read on Amazon for this guitar have been positive I have to admit that I didn't let the instrument acclimate the way you're supposed to (allow the instrument to raise or lower to the temperature and humidity of the room before tuning), but it didn't affect anything but the tone which I didn't expect much since we're talking about a $50 guitar here. When first tuning it up and playing it I was sure to stretch the strings so that they didn't stretch on their own while I was playing. (Pull the strings one at a time at the 12th fret away from the body bout an inch and gently tug) The guitar sounded quite twangy at first, but as I've played it over the past few days, the sound has warmed up considerably. The guitar size is quite comfortable for me. I'm 6' tall and weigh 185 lbs and I have always found a dreadnought guitar to be just a little too big unless I'm standing. This guitar is about 3/4" smaller than a dreadnought all the way around which ends up affecting tone, voice, and sustain. With this being said, I'm not going to be standing up in front of anybody playing guitar any time soon, and if I do I'll probably be on a mic or an amp. This guitar works for me and I would definitely recommend it or buy another if I didn't think my wife would murder me.In general I'm pleased with this guitar and have already told several people about it and recommended that if they are in the market they should look in this direction.
