Spend the extra $20
First let me say that I have purchased several of the keyboard/case combos at the $15-$30 price point for my iPads and the quality was always lacking. This time I finally stopped being a cheap ass and I upgraded to a case in the $50-$70 range, crazy right. This case ended up being my choice and I could not be happier. The keyboard is much higher quality than I expected and the backlight ability is awesome. The best part though is where the keyboard attaches to the tablet case makes a nice handle that makes the tablet so much easier to hold and use when the keyboard is detached. Best tablet case I've had so far.

Great Product After Long Search
I have had this keyboard for almost a month and love it and its protective case. Have had others and this case feels very solid and durable. The profile is very slim and not bulky. Keyboard works well, but I wish it had letters that lit up instead of just illuminating around the keys. (Although I’m not aware of any iPad keyboard that has this feature.). The iPad will automatically dim when you close the case and will light up as soon as you reopen it. The pad is easy to separate from the keyboard and use separately. There are even a couple arms that fold out to hold the pad part at an angle so you can use it without the keyboard if you are just scrolling and not typing. I didn’t find this a problem, but the arms will only support the pad in the horizontal position. I ordered the cover in the denim blue color and really love it. It has the texture of cloth and is not a cheesy vinyl surface.

I’m giving this 4 stars because... Updated to 1 star, broke after 2 days of use.
Update— 2 days later I noticed the corner of the case kept popping off. It appears to have cracked after 2 days of use so I will be returning. I’m really disappointed. I had high hopes for this case but it has become a dissapointment. I am dropping my initial score from 4 stars down to 1 star now.So, I’m on my third keyboard case this year for my iPad 9.7 inch. I have had a Zagg and a no-name keyboard before this one which both broke after several months of use. I was really disappointed in the Zagg case. I decided to try this one to see how it works out.Now I can’t supply a durrability review because I’ve only had it for a few hours. I am currently using the keyboard to write this review though. Here are the Pros:1. It’s light weight2. The keyboard is securely fastened to the device unlike other brands.3. It appears to have a nice metal hinge which seems like it will last.4. The feel of the case is adequate and has a nice exterior texture.5. Nice rubber feet on the keyboard which helps provide grip.6. Keys are nicely spaced and even with my meaty fat fingers I have no issue with typing on it.7. Was easy to connect.8. The backlit keyboard isn’t overly bright like others and don’t hit you in the eye from under the keyboard.9. Good set of function keys across the top.10. It shows the battery level in the widget screen! The more expensive models don’t even do this!Well those are the pros for the device. There are several cons to this keyboard as well.1. The caps lock key doesn’t have a light to show it is on. This is the first keyboard case I’ve had which doesn’t have this feature. I guess the pay off for this is I can see the battery level in the widget screen.2. While the interlocking device is sturdy and overal the case feels somewhat solid, the iPad appears to outweigh the hinge some and you can’t open it as far as other keyboard combinations.3. The case doesn’t fit 100%. On the side of the ipad where there is the volume up and down the case doesn’t quite fit. It’s close but it’s missing 1 or 2 mm to snap securely in place. The ipad is NOT in jeopardy of falling out but it just has an odd feel when you are holding the iPad with the keyboard removed.4. The headphone jack is slightly misalignedn as well as the volume keys. While not horrible some of the more chunky connectors will have an issue with the headphone jack. I use Bluetooth headsets so I really don’t have an issue with this. While the volume up is no so difficult to operate the volume down takes a bit more doing. It is something I can live with though.Well, That’s what I have so far. Depending upon how things go will depends on if I update this to 5 stars or drop it down a few. If the keyboard lasts I will definitely up it to 5. If it cr*ps out like the others down it goes.

Best of the best!
This is my fourth keyboard cover for iPad (including Brydge, Fintie and others), and my first from this company. Hands down, it’s by far the best. My only complaint is that their ad doesn’t jump out of the list! It’s hard to pick what I like best about it. I have the grey, canvas-like cover, and it’s elegant, attractive and doesn’t appear to get dirty easily. In the 1.5 weeks I’ve had it, four people have complimented it, and one had to have the Amazon item number so he could get one, also. I love the button-release! It’s sturdy and still easy to operate. When it pops off, my iPad is still protected. A genuine surprise was finding the little swing-out feet that allows me to stand the iPad up — the keyboard still works, of course, so it becomes a useful training and meeting tool. It’s lighter than the others I’ve tried, too, and feels like a super-durable plastic. No marks so far, and I bang it around a lot. Oh, and it costs less than any of the other ones I’ve tried. I recommend it highly!

Based on the options it provides, it is very good as compared to the others in that price range.
The case has the professional sleek look. It does provide some level of protection to the Ipad but I won't buy if protecting the ipad from being dropped is the top requirement. The detach screen option comes in handy when you are sharing screen between a group of 2-3 kids and one of them is using the keyboard. It handles that scenario perfectly. The cons of the detach screen is that the desgin of the base extendors on which the screen rests feels not very sturdy, it may easily brake especially when kids are handling it.

Have tried numerous keyboards and this one is awesome
Just received today and started working on it. It is awesome. The keys are very responsive and work very well. It feels great. I have purchased numerous keypad cases before and this is by far - the best one I have.UPDATE - 02-22-2019 - I have noticed the last couple of days that the keyboard is rather temperamental. It works great and then the next time I go to use it, I am typing along and all of a sudden it is only typing every other letter or even less. I do a lot of typing for my job and this is NOT acceptable. I have switched back to my original ZAGG case.I have once again, tried this case and it works for awhile and then the next time I use it - letters are missed or it types them twice or more. Very frustrating because its’ actually a really good feeling case, but it does not work correctly.

Make sure you aren't rough on the casing
The protector case looks good yet is not the toughest: cracked after 2 weeks on a corner simply by taking the ipad out and putting it back in, I don't consider this a protection casing but an add on for ease of use.The pricing is a little high considering the overall quality.Keyboard seems to be of good quality and is responsive.I gave 3 stars originaly but after 2 months I had to buy a better case and simply kept the keyboard as an accessory so I must change it to 2 stars.I would say this product is not worth more then 40 $

Plastic Waste
Just don't buy it. The plastic around the edges of the case that hold the iPad itself in place is extremely cheap. It cracked immediately after removing the iPad from the case the first time. Done. Useless. At least if you burn your money, you get a show, hopefully not at the expense of your iPad. Also, the hinge mechanism is loose/wobbly. Not exactly the easiest to insert and take out. I just don't recommend this product at all.

Went from good to bad quickly.
EDIT.I am 1 week outside of the 30 day warranty and I’ve noticed both corners are already cracked and will be completely broken shortly. VERY light user. Never dropped.Nice look to it, the keyboard buttons are very nice and responsive. Arrived very quickly. KEEP THE INSTUCTIONS.. I am tech savvy and never would have figured out how to pair.

Slow to connect to Bluetooth
It is difficult to get the Bluetooth to connect once you open the case. This delays the ability to type using the keyboard. Because of the durability of the case it is flagged at every airport and is examined. In order to not have a secondary check at security it is important is remember to remove it and put it in a separate bin

Worth it ! But don't drop it.
Great look and finish. Bluetooth keyboard is excellent.Detachable keyboard is brilliant. Built-in stand for iPad is fun.Only downside is hard plastic that cracks easily when dropped.
