I've had this wallet for about six months now. I wanted to wait and use it for a while before I reviewed it. It's held up well; just a little wear around the corners and edges. A lot of the "minimalist" wallets are not big enough to hold business cards, but this one does -- just barely; if you carry a card for weeks without giving it to someone, it will get a bit wrinkled along the top edge.I normally carry 4 credit/ATM/shopper-reward cards, 4 business cards, my driver's license, 3-4 insurance cards, 2 checks, a thin plastic magnifying glass, and a tiny flash drive with a backup of my office computer, as well as a few bills. The wallet holds all of that just fine. On a busy day, it sometimes gets stuffed with 5-10 more bills and a few receipts or other papers, and it handles that load OK too. Great wallet! I may buy a couple more as gifts.

I buy a lot of things through Amazon & I rarely write a review. However having gone through more minimalist & front pocket wallets than I care to count I’ve found one that really works well.The wallet is only fractionally larger than a standard credit card. It’s made of a thin tough nylon that has a more substantial feel than I would have thought. I fit twelve cards and four bills in the wallet and it folded up matchbook thin. Even though it’s full, the pockets are not over tight. The cards stay put but come out with ease when you need them. The elastic band makes it a compact little package. This wallet is the the thinnest and smallest of every other wallet I’ve owned. it’s also the only one that has all the features of a traditional tri-fold; three panels for cards and a full sized bill compartment.I’m an EDC obsessive and this is a piece of gear I’ll be using for a long time.

Positives:- Thin and lightweight.- Material while being nylon has a certain heft to it.- Very good quality overall.- Excellent addition of a band. I had got a different make thin nylon wallet that did not have a band. The issue with these thin nylon wallets is that if you do not have 2 or more cards in each slot, there is a good chance the card may slip out of the slot if you are not careful. The band helps alleviate this issue to some extent.Scope for improvements and points to note:- The stitching for the "Light Fold" label on the wallet is not that great. Some of it has started to come off. The stitching in the rest of the wallet however is pretty solid.- You cannot hold more than 3 cards in each slot. I don't see how someone could hold 12 cards in this wallet.

After 3 months it's holding up great and I really love this wallet because it is light, small and holds exactly what I need. A little concern about long term durability but I will just buy another if it wears out. Thought the elastic strap was strange at first but have grown to really like it because it holds everything securely in the wallet and keeps it tight. If you like a big bulky leather wallet this is not for you - for me it's PERFECT.

Nice, thin and functional but workmanship is poor. The logo is not centered so only 3 sides are stitched. The fourth side of the logo frayed after some use. The seams of the rubber band does not line up. For this price with such cheap material, I expect the workmanship to be better.

I bought this because a previously purchased tri-fold ripstop wallet was bulky and hard to fit multiple credit cards. the review of this one described the capacity I needed and was worth a try. When I received it I was afraid I had made a big mistake. It was tiny, barely bigger then a single credit card. Even folded in thirds it was only about a 1/4' thick. So I was doubtful but proceeded to empty my old wallet of 6 credit cards, Social Security and Medicare card, Driver's license, Prescription discount card, 5 regular size business card, 4 deposit slips and about $20 in ones, fives and tens. A couple of times to organize everything I folded it all up and everything had a place and folded up it was barely thicker then it was when it was empty. Even better I can easily get it out of the front pocket of my jeans without standing up.

I'm older... been carrying big fat wallets in my back pocket for decades. Recently I read that some people who have lower back issues should consider carrying their wallet in a front pocket. I started doing that a few weeks ago and the difference has been dramatic. But I still needed a smaller wallet if I was going to carry something in front. This wallet is perfect! I fit 6 credit cards, an id card and my insurance card and 10 paper dollars- everything fit perfectly. I think what I like best is the stretchy fold over band...secures everything and prevents all my credit cards from falling out like would always happen with a few other velcro-style wallets that I've owned. Happy is an understatement- I'm ordering another one just as a backup.

Okay so if you’re looking for the slimmest wallet ever which you can a vast amounts of cards and notes, look no further. I was amazed at how small and compact it was compared to my previous wallets.Now even though they claim this is RDIF secure, I can tell you it isn’t. Well the one I have anyway. You can still pay for items with your card still in your wallet which means someone could scim you as well.Last issue I have with this, is that the elastic band is already freying around the edges at the bottom so not sure how long it’s going to go before it snaps.

I just got mine and I am very happy with this wallet.Other minimalist wallets make you fold the notes before you put them into the wallet, this creates a usability problem. To access individual notes you have to take all of them out of the wallet first, then unfold, access individual note with notes on one hand and wallet on the other, etc.With this design, when you open your wallet you have your wallet on one hand and you can access your individual notes with the other hand without the need to take all of your notes out of the wallet.It has RFID protection and that is a must for me because I got contactless payment cards. Note that there are alternatives that do not require you to get an RFID protected wallet but they are less practical.

This is one of the best items I've ever bought from Amazon, in over 20 years of being a customer. This wallet is brilliant. I was looking to trim down the size of my wallet, especially for travelling, and this little item is elegantly simple. It holds bills as well as cards (I currently have 18 cards in the wallet, secured by the handy elasticated band), and has RFID blocking, a particular requirement. It is light, well-made, used frequently, and remains in excellent condition. Compared to other brands, this is way ahead for value, and I would happily purchase again. I have absolutely no connection to the manufacturer, and bought the item after'd comparing all the compact RFID-blocking wallets on the Amazon site. It is one of those rare items that just does a simple task extremely well. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using minimalist wallets for a couple of years now and my previous favourite was the crabby wallet v2. I did buy a v3 version with the extra pocket but it was disappointing due to the material making it difficult to store and remove more cards. Cash and receipts also had to be prefolded to store inside them. Despite the flaws I stuck with these small wallets but have always remained on the lookout for better versions. This Light Fold wallet on the other hand has just arrived in the post and I’m immediately impressed with the number of cards, bank notes (unfolded) and visa receipts I can easily store and retrieve. I’ve stored eight cards plus a cavity card (stores coins) which takes up an additional four card spaces and the wallet takes the lot. The wallets’ material also makes it easy to remove cards from each pocket. I can even temporarily place a card over the front/back of the wallet and tuck it under the positioned elastic strap when I know I’m going to use it imminently. Will I stick with the Light Fold? Although I can’t comment yet on reliability, lets just say my crabby wallets have already been assigned to the bin!!

I have had the same leather wallet for years which was slowly disintegrating, and after seeing a friend with one of these wallets, thought I would try it. So far it has been great - I don't even realise that I am carrying a wallet (I always have my wallet in my front pocket).I have 10 cards split across the 3 pockets and they all fit just fine, and accessing the cards is easy. The compartment for the bank notes is fine too. It all folds up nicely. The only thing I had to get used to is snapping the elastic strap back around the wallet. Takes a bit of practice - I Have had the cards shooting out as I have stretched the elastic and not quite got it over the cards. Experience is the name you give to your own mistakes!I haven't tested the RFID blocking capabilities yet, but I carry a dedicated RFID blocking card anyway.

When I first got this wallet it seemed too small and it's true that it forces you to think about how much you really need to carry, but it works for me. I use it with 6 cards, plus bank notes and receipts. The elastic holds everything securely and it is so slim that you hardly notice it in your pocket. NB. I paid about £13 but, at the time of writing, the price is now quite a bit higher, making it not quite such good value.

Estaba buscando una cartera lo más pequeña posible con proteccíón RFID para llevar en el bolsillo del pantalón y esta es la mejor que he encontrado. Anteriormente tenía una que era de un tamaño parecido pero los billetes iban en un bolsillo exterior con lo cual se rozaban y corrían peligro de caerse, esta en cambio tiene un apartado propio para los billetes y tres más para meter tarjetas, yo llevo nueve, tres en cada apartado, pero cabrían más. Es de tela, lo cual me lleva a la duda de cuanto durara, pero parece resistente. La otra duda era si las tarjetas irían protegidas, ya que como digo es tela, no tiene ningún tipo de carcasa rígida que las proteja, pero si llevas unas cuantas al cerrar la cartera se apoyan unas con otras y sería difícil que se partiera alguna. Va cerrada con una goma para tener la seguridad de que no se te caiga ninguna tarjeta. Como digo, la cartera más pequeña que he encontrado, he probado otras de tamaño parecido pero en cuanto meter las tarjetas engordan muchísimo, esta en cambio mantiene un tamaño muy reducido aún metiéndole unas cuantas tarjetas.

Absolutely genious and I love it.I marked it down one star because the elastic was slightly knicked which means it will fray more easily over time and the logo was not sewed on fully so that will fall off soon.However, it is a great idea and we'll built otherwise and should last a while.I thought about getting a second to have different colours but that seems an eccentric waste of money. But I like the red one as well as the black one I bought.

Happy with this purchase, it's a very compact wallet and exactly what I was looking for. However, having now had the wallet for 18 months, the strap has lost its elasticity, so it loses a star.Update: I have had to update my rating to 3 stars. Several months on, the strap has completely lost its elasticity and I will need to get a new wallet.

This is very small and works reasonably well. The green elastic band holds the credit cards in their pocket when the wallet is folded up. I welcome the lack of bulk this product brings. For some users the extra small size, even though accommodating all of their cash and cards, will feel strange, especially after using a bulky wallet.

This is the best wallet I’ve had for size to function tradeoff and have immediately ditched my other much more expensive wallets for this.The tri fold design allows larger notes to fit in without issue yet unlike other trifolds, still folds down to barely more than a credit card size.The strap keeps the cash and cards nice and secure. For me it also offers the possibilty of attaching a couple of keys.A great design. Interested to see what Light Fold comes up with next. Keep up the good work!

I love this little thing. It takes some getting used to and I've dropped cards in stores by accident, but it's very slim.I have rated 4 stars as mine arrived with a slightly fraying elastic which still works but doesn't look good.

I bought this for my husband as his metal one had broken. It’s quite small, but easy to fit into small pockets.I like the idea that it takes notes and my husband isn’t juggling his wallet and card holder at the bank, which happened with the metal one.

It does the job well, taking 12 credit cards plus. The wallet takes little room in a front pocket. I have been looking for sometime for a replacement for my old leather wallet and this one fits the bill. The elastic closure ensures non of the cards can fall out.

Small and lightweight, good for notes and cards. Nice for people who don’t want the usual leather.
