Gold Bond Rough & Bumpy Daily Skin Therapy Cream, 8 oz Cream With 7 Moisturizers & 3 Vitamins

This is a great emollient cream that I have found smooths and softens my skin in just one use. I have moderate keratosis pilaris on the back of my arms and a bit on my legs. I use this, after exfoliating and sometimes using an SA cream, generally before bed. While it doesn’t remove much redness, I find my skin is far smoother and soft when I use it regularly, with no bumps to the touch. It is very thick and moisturizing, and similar in texture to many eczema creams I’ve tried, but unlike others, this doesn’t have a strong smell. It’s also a great value for a tub that lasts a long time. I try to be careful about safe skincare ingredients, and while I wouldn’t use this on my child, the ingredients of concern are salicylic acid and propylene glycol, both of which are in a majority of products like this. They can cause a contact allergic reaction, but this is dependent on the consumer. I have sensitive skin and have developed more allergies as I’ve aged, but I have had no personal adverse reactions to this cream.

This is an exfoliating cream meant to be applied at night and rubbed off in the morning. When first applied, it's incredibly oily. It leaves your skin feeling greasy and thick. It goes on pretty smooth and evenly, and it stays on all night. It has no scent, and it pretty good quality for what it's worth. But this is not a daily moisturizer for everyday use. You wash your skin, preferably in warm water, apply this lotion while it's still slightly damp, and then sleep with it on. The next morning, you take a towel or some sort of abrasive rag and rub the dead skin off. This cream is for exfoliating, it works by loosening the dead skin on top and moisturizing the new skin below. Hence why it's so oily. I like to put it on before a workout so that when I'm done, I can take a shower and scrub all the sweat and dead skin off. Pretty interesting product.

I have used Gold Bond products in the past. They are good products but I haven't found any that were unscented. So I never bought more. I took a chance buying this huge tub of lotion. And it is big. I ordered anyway. I am amazed at the cream. It is more like a lotion when you apply it. Thin when it's applied, which I like. Not like working paste into your skin. I bought it for a problem area on my elbow and arm. Before long I was putting it on my feet, the next day on my hands, and then last evening on my face. What a wonderful cream. Usually when I use a lotion or cream I have to go wash my hands and face as I can "feel" it and find it annoying. Not this product, it actually felt good. It soothed my burning hands, calmed the patch on my arm and elbow and my face feels like silk the day after the nighttime use. Now this is a new product to me, so I will attempt to give you an update in about a month. My husband has very dry feet, so I told him he should give it a try, as a very high end product I bought for him feels good, but isn't doing anything to improve his situation. You should at least give it a try if you are looking for an all around good lotion or cream. I buy a high end cream at the beauty counter at a high end department store (or can be found a major beauty stores). I love it but find it costly, this tub of cream worked just like that and felt just as good. I was near the point of reordering but think I will continue the use of Gold Bond Ultimate Rough and Bumpy Skin Daily Therapy Skin Cream and see what happens. It would cost me thousands of dollars to fill this 8 oz. tub with the product I was using on my face. So far so good and am surprised at my reaction to this product. I did know Chattem, Inc. was a very old company and thought this might really be a good product, but took a chance when I bought it. From my short term experience, I don't think you can go wrong with this product. It does have a slight smell, which I can't smell, but my husband says it is very mild and non offensive. I usually use unscented products due to chemical sensitivity problems. I am able to use this without it making me ill or just finding the smell offensive.

I have not seen any leg improvement over the last months. It doesn't irritate your legs and the quality is very good, i think i would buy it again if I had more leg problems but ive definitely not seen any skincare improvement on my legs at all. I think it's worth its money and moisturizing, but it's worked for other people so i'm definitely not going to give a horrible rating, I would recommend.

I purchased this cream as I had an issue with rough and bumpy skin on my legs, arms and chest. I’ve used it now for several months and I have to say this cream works. My skin is now so smooth that I don’t need to use it anymore. I wish it came in a smaller size but the price was reasonable so if I happen to get bumpy skin again, it will be available for me b

This shiz actually works. It made a marked difference to my keratosis pilaris. Even though it’s still there it’s muuuuch better! I know there have been some reviews about the smell but I found it to be really mild and nondescript, didn’t bother me in the slightest. Sinks into the skin quickly too.

Quality at a good price

Es funktioniert. Ich habe mein Leben lang am Po und an den Beinen rote Punkte, teilweise Pickelchen, Probleme mit super empfindlicher Haut nach dem Rasieren, eingewachsene Haare, Haarentfernung war eine Qual. Diese Creme hat zwar Silikonöl drin, was ich sonst immer vermeide, aber die Inhaltsstoffe sind viel sinniger als Amlactin, was ja auch gegen Keratinosis pilaris helfen soll, aber nur viel Milchsäure enthält. Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy hat viel Shea Butter drin, und verschiedene Säuren. Es ist also eine Art chemisches Peeling mit starker Feuchtigkeitspflege dabei. Es riecht mir nicht unangenehm, eher ein bisschen nach Rosinen. Es enthält keine Duftstoffe! Das ist echt super bei meiner empfindlichen Haut. Man braucht nicht viel, das Hautgefühl ist nach dem gründlichen Auftragen schon ein bisschen sticky, aber bei Berührung super zart (Silikonöl eben). Ich habe es gestern Abend vorm Schlafengehen benutzt, es kribbelt ein bisschen nach dem Auftrag, aber das lässt schnell nach und ich habe super zarte Haut nach dem Aufwachen gehabt, die Rumpelecken sind viel glatter. Irre. Auch eben nach dem Rasieren hat es meine Haut super vertragen, normalerweise geht da gar nix ohne Brennen und Rasurbrand. Rote Stellen lassen wirklich nach. Ich benutze es jetzt mal ein paar Wochen zweimal täglich und melde mich zurück. Wäre nur echt gut, wenn es nicht so ein Riegel wäre, aber so kann man eben auch wirklich alles aufbrauchen. Ich bin Privatkäuferin und bekomme kein Geld für diese Rezension. Ich wünschte, ich könnte diese Creme im Handel kaufen, wie in den USA und England...

Llevo 3 días usando la crema y estoy realmente sorprendida, tengo eczema y la estoy usando solamente en las zonas donde tengo la piel muy reseca y mucha comezón. La textura de mi piel ha mejorado notablemente y me ha disminuido la comezón, la estoy usando 3 a 4 veces al día. Estoy esperanzada.
