The point of the hand grip is so that you can have a loose grip on the weights... which is especially important for me since I have rheumatoid arthritis. The “hand grip” on this is neoprene and lose as all can be... it defeats the purpose because you still have to maintain a solid grip in order for them to not fall. It’s truly awful, the hand grip on this is so lose it serves NO purpose. They’re going right back.

I'm glad I purchased these soft dumbbells...I didn't even know that something like this existed! I wanted small hand weights that I could keep on my desk and use throughout the day (trying to get rid of those flabby triceps...ugh). These stay put where ever I place them (won't roll away). I also like the little strap that's attached for slipping my hand through. Highly recommended!

These hand weights are too floppy (loose sand inside is what the weight is made of), the material is too loose and the hand strap is too big so it doesn't secure your hand to the weight. You physically have to squeeze your hand around it to hold it securely causing the "sand" to disperse to either side making it so it looks hourglass shaped. This causes the ends to flop around as you lift the weights. 😒 not good! The strap is so loose that I can put three hands inside it and still have room. Totally pointless.

I have difficulty gripping items and sometimes things slip and drop. I was going to get standard dombbells but was afraid I'd lose my grip and drop the weights on my feet. So I saw these and they are wonderful!. Very easy to grip and they have a strap which makes them seem more stable.

I bought this set of 2 3lb weights after I felt like the 1 lb and 2 lb weights made by Empower (https://www.amazon.com/Empower-Walking-Weights-Running-Raspberry/dp/B073WN382P) were too easy. This brand feels a lot looser and floppier compared to those. Fortunately I upgraded to 4 lb in each hand quickly so I didn't need to use these very long. They were okay, and there are certainly advantages to this style over the solid/hard weights, but I don't think I would have enjoyed using these long term.

I have the 1-lb and 2-lb soft hand weights with band and as of late felt I needed some additional weight for overhead triceps extensions. I thought these would do the trick, but the length of the weights was awkward even with the band. Ended up buying the neoprene hand weights which seem more steady for doing overhead curls

Very difficult to use - the sand is not packed tight so they are very flimsy. Awkward design.

I bought the 3 pound weights. They are soft to the touch and very comfortable. I have some hand strain from over stretching with bands and free weights, and these are helpful in my staying active. Good purchase.
