Gamecube Controller Adapter 4 Port Black Gamecube Adapter for Switch Controller Adapter Compatible with Wii U -Plug & Play, No Drivers Needed

I picked this up to play GRID:Autosport on Switch so I could use the old gamecube controllers I have. This elevated the game to another level as it utilises the gamecube analog triggers which are not present on either the switch joycon or pro controllers and the difference was up to 3.5 seconds a lap depending on the circuit.Also used it with Smash ultimate and it works well there too.Simple to set up, simply plug into the switch dock USB port and then plug the gamecube controller in. Console will recognise it as a wired controller right away.

So far, a great product! I use it with my switch and my brother tested it out on his computer and it works perfectly! I now play Mario Kart with my old GC controller rather than the joy con's as I find it makes for a tighter, more satisfying experience. It also means I can do 4 player with 4 controllers rather than the single joy con's which is nice! However, don't get if you don't play a lot of Mario Kart or Smash bros as GC controllers don't work well in all games e.g breath of the wild and splatoon which are designed more around the functions of the joy con's such as the ZL and stick buttons. However if you, like me, are feeling some nostalgia for double dash or don't want to pay big money for a pro controller when you have old GC ones lying around, this product works really well and I would recommend!

Works perfectly with my original gamecube pad. This unlocks full support, so games like Grid autosport can take full use of the analogue shoulder buttons (not some wireless ones do not enable the analogue shoulders).If you have a gamecube pad I recommend this 100%

Just plug it in and switch to the right mode and that’s it. Same as other models on sale from what I can see. Good stuff.

Really enjoying this product, works exactly as it says, runs absolutely fine on my switch havent got around to using it on anything else yet but have no doubt itll work!

This is exactly what I needed for playing multiplayer games on the switch without paying a premium on new switch controllers (and frankly I like the GC controllers more). Immediately could play 4+ players on the new smash and I like that it's compatible with my mac as well. No more / no less than what I wanted.

Only gives the correct driver ID when switched to "Wii U mode", however, it still doesn't work on dolphin, despite showing that the adapter is detected. There are no known fixes for the issue.

Ordered this for my son. Does what it says on the box. Arrived, plugged it in and hey presto.
