Inconsistent
I set all 5 of my spikes to the #2 setting. 1 of my water bottles was empty within a few hours, 2 were empty by morning, and the last 2 took 4 days to empty. Very inconsistent. I adjusted them all, several times, and they were still draining at extremely different rates. I feel like my plants were either water logged or didn’t receive enough water. I like the idea of these for when we go out of town, but I can’t trust them to work properly or consistently. Bummer. I might try another brand to see if the quality is better.

Hard to adjust
I read the instructions and set the stakes to 3 for tomatoes and basil, per the package suggestion for vegetables. then I put the stakes in the ground with a large bottle of water. The next day, only one of the bottles' water level had gone down. It took me several tries, including opening up the black stakes and moving the dial, then putting it back on to get each to drip water. Some dripped faster than others. When I return, I will have to spend more time fiddling with it to get it right. If I can get it to work, then it is a great product. But it is difficult to get the water to come out.

Use a 2 liter bottle
I had trouble with these until I read reviews on a different product which said to make a tiny hole in the bottom of the bottle (prevent vacuum seal). Note - make it a tiny hole with just the tip of a small finishing nail or your gravity drain may overpower the regulator on this. At a 5 setting with a hole the size of my very smallest drill bit, a regular coke bottle drains in a day. A 2 liter lasts me about 5 days with a smaller hole I made when I barely punctured the top with a wood screw. With no hole - the water didn't flow at all on any of the 6. So, glass doesn't work.

Look for others
Very hard to get working. No English directions. Some bottle connections were too small so that the bottles just drained. Some work, some don’t.

Didn't release water
Would not drip. Tried valve to full on and may as well be off.

Not reliable
Adjusted all 5 stakes to #2 settings and made sure the bottle was a little high and the opening drip was not covered. A couple of bottles didn't drain at all and the other 3 dripped at different rates. It looks nice but is not reliable. Sending it back.

Ok, but water bottle is empty at the end of the day.
It does not last 7 days.
