WASH 'N CURL SHAMPOO FINE/LIMP Size: 8 OZ

The shampoo came early although one bottle leaked inside the package

Leaves hair soft & clean! I guess with repeated use it helps the hair curl but being that things are getting expensive, I just wash & rinse once...I then follow with my usual hair products to help the curls hold all day long!

I'm not one to give negative reviews but...I would save my money. This didn't help my hair curl whatsoever. I got better results with Suave. Fortunately, this wasn't expensive. Maybe it was because I chose the limp, dry hair, but it seemed to weigh my hair down.

I used this with the wash n' curl conditioner and it made no difference to my hair- it stayed straight. It also left my hair smelling like chemicals until I washed it again. It might work for other people but didn't for me!

Big disappointment! It made my hair feel quite coarse, but added no noticeable curl. I'll stick with my naturally soft, baby-fine hair!

LOVE Wash n Curl! It truly works. Tho the original version (clear bottle, turquoise round letters) worked even better. For some reason they revised the formula. But there are a few tricks I use. Wash, rinse, repeat but u MUST leave it in the 2nd time for at least 5 min. Scrunch it while towel drying & it makes my mostly straight hair go curly. To help it, I scrunch in some Marc Anthony's curl cream in the yellow tube (does not make your hair crunchy feeling), then go to bed w/it still damp! ( When I want the curly look, I only wash my hair with this at nite b4 bed). Try to scrunch it while you're laying on it. When my hair was shoulder length, that's all I needed to wake up w/naturally curly looking hair. Didn't need to do ANYTHING. Now that it's quite a bit longer, the length weighs it down somewhat, so I simply scrunch all my hair up into about 5 sections & pin each down w/a bobby pin & sleep on it that way. That's it! Naturally curly looking hair. Seriously.

This does seem to keep a curl/wave longer in your hair without the possible burning effect of using a curling wand every day. However, it leaves my hair very dry and tangled so I need to use a conditioner which seems to lessen the effectiveness of the shampoo. I haven't checked yet to see if there's a Wash & Curl conditioner that might be lighter and still help to keep the curl in, which would be a great solution.

Although my mother used this in the early 90's and that's all I ever think about... my curly hair was turning strait and this was literally the only product that gave me that curl back! Doesn't last long (little bottle) but good stuff!
