I like to have the up to date version of Merck - I sold the old Blue 18th one on..on Amazon and gotthe new one 19th One...The Green One but this one is a good few inches widerLatest one is much larger. I know original idea of it was to have in a lab pocket coatbut with that new version that idea is no longer possibleThat said...it's a handsome book to have on a desk

Long awaited update of fairly comprehensive summary of medical specialties. Very useful to read up - and sound authorative about - topics outside one’s personal knowledge base. Would be great to take to a desert island (together with printed edition of Encylopedia Brittanic).For the rest of us - wouldn’t an online version with the option of subscription to regular and frequent updates make much more sense?

Had the previous edition, and wanted to upgrgrade. Excellent all round book (for doctors and other healthcare professionals - I don't think it would be useful to most lay).This book is considerable larger, with up-to-date material and new and expanded sessions.A very good update

Even if the pic says 19th edition, the shipped version is the correct one. Have no doubt about this purchase.
