This book describes how to use the function in Excel. It is well written and will be a desktop reference for those who use Excel regularly.

This book is amazing! I needed a little assistance, and this little nugget gave me the extra help I needed. Well worth the money!

Very thorough coverage with one exception.
This is one of the better "for dummies" books I've tried. I have a modest understanding of Excel so I am not sure if this book is basic enough for a true "dummy." It definitely impresses me with the power of this tool, especially if you connect it with the VBA programming capabilities The one section I found lacking was the description of the "Conditional Formatting." It could have gone into more detail and showed more examples. Other than that I am thoroughly enjoying this book. If that doesn't make me a nerd I don't know what will. Does Amazon sell pocket protectors?

Not exactly for Dummies. Have to have a bit of previous knowledge.

This book is easy to read and has straight forward examples. This book is probably not for someone looking to learn complex formulas
