Self inking dates stamp nicely crafted. Clean looking.

I was looking for an inexpensive Month/Date/Year self-stamping tool for processing sterile equipment in large quantities. This product functions well enough for that task, and will likely last me at least a year. I feel it was well worth the couple dollars spent despite some minor design flaws. Issues: The wheels to change the date are very difficult to turn even though I have used very similar products in the past. This resulted in me getting ink on my fingers. The numerals/symbols are not terribly well raised, resulting in uneven printing if the surface being stamped is not very flat. The ink pad is constantly exposed to the air, and is likely to dry out quickly. The year setting of the month/day/year format is preset with 2000's dates, so these stamps will only function for this decade. Benefits: The easily accessible ink pad can be refilled easily time and time again with virtually any ink and an eyedropper type tool. This little gem saves me HOURS per week in sterile processing as I no longer have to hand write the date on hundreds of sterile pouches. The date is easy to read as a three letter month, two digit day, and four digit year. It includes some symbols on the day wheels as well for additional notation, though I am uncertain that there is a blank space on the month and year so that said symbols can be used without including other information.

Not the best printing stamper. The numbers are never well aligned and you ne to press extremely hard to get the full date stamped. However, as it is said, you pay for what you get - extremely cheap cost, cannot expect much better quality.

New as described. Mine is still in its package and I have not used it. I bought it August 2019 and it is now February 2026.

I have ordered 5 of these date stampers over the course of 2 months. The first two lasted 1 month (very light ink; difficult to read) and the last 3 didn't stamp the date at all. I recommend that this seller stop selling this product until the problem is remedied.

Loved this. Used it in my preschool class to date the kids work sheets and paintings. So much quicker.

Great concept but the mechanism locks up almost every stamp. Really frustrating when doing multiple documents. Haven’t figured out the best way to unlock the stamp when it does this. Doesn’t seem to do it with any rhyme or reason.

So, I open it, and bam, first disappointment. The ink is already almost dry. After a few uses, the stamp starts to act up, with half-printed dates. You know, the kind of thing that makes you doubt whether it's the 12th or the 21st. In terms of quality, we are far from it. The rubber seems cheap, and the ink, let's not talk about it. Performance-wise, it let me go when I needed it the most. It feels like it was designed for super casual uses, not for someone who has a real everyday need. If you already have it, try storing it horizontally to prevent the ink from drying. And maybe change the ink yourself if you want it to last a little longer. The stamp has an adjustable date, it's practical. But the black ink supplied is of poor quality. The size is correct, not too bulky on the desk. If you're looking for a tampon for everyday use, invest a little more. Look for brands known for their sustainability. And always test the ink in store if possible!
