I have nerve paralysis in my lower right leg that results in dropfoot and severe hammertoes. I can only stand for about 10 minutes before I have severe pain in the ends of my toes where they hit the floor. My neurologist said I needed to have surgery to fuse my toe joints. I’ve been under the knife too much recently and dont want to be disabled while I heal. These gently straighten my toes and provide cushioning in my forefoot. I can stand and walk for 3-4 hours at a time and feel great. I also have been using them on my other foot, which has less severe hammertoes. They up the comfort there, but I haven’t seen much effect on actual straightening They do spread out your toes, so some shoes don’t fit right. I’ve trimmed off one or more toe loops and cut away some of the padding on one pair to get the fit more comfortable. They are squishy enough that you dont need perfect cuts. On my nerve injured foot, I do tape the little toe to make it possible to put my shoes on They are remarkably durable. I’ve has a pair that I’ve worn almost every day for 6 months. And they clean easily and don’t develop any odor. Which is more than I can say for my orthotics They claim that you can wear them barefoot. I wish I could, but my sliding dropfoot gait causes them to stick/catch on hardwood floors which is a bit dangerous for me Highly recommended for comfort, the jury is still out on whether they will correct (old man) hammertoes

These hammer toe correctors have saved my feet! They cushion and support the underneath muscles of my toes. I'm able to quickly wash them with hand soap to keep them clean and smelling nice. I've worn them everyday for months and they look like new and still provide the cushion and support needed.

This works pretty well. The toe bands need to be a little wider.

UPDATE: I wrote this review a few months ago. I wanted to hive you an updated review. I no longer have to have hammertoe surgery because this product has stopped all my pain. I still have a hammer toe on my right foot, but when I wear this device I no longer have any pain. I wanted to let you know that one day I lost it and found it in my dryer. I found that the material that it's made out of stretches out and doesn't feel as comfortable on my foot. What I found out was that when it went through the dryer that the rubber went back to the original shape. The material that it's made out of will pull out of shape after about a month and the device will slip on my foot. So after it went through the dryer I found that the heat put it back in its original shape. So what I do is every night when I take it off I put it under the hottest water that I can have and I find that the device goes back into its original shape. I put it under the water for about 5 minutes. This is very important because if you follow my directions you can buy one package and it can last you a long time. Before it went in the dryer I found that I was having to replace it once every month. Now that I put it under the hot water the rubber will shrink back into the original shape. But if you don't want to run it under hot water every night to get it to go back into its original shape you will have to use another one every month because it only lasts for about 30 days if you don't put it under the hot water.**** If you want to stop your hammer toe pain, you need to buy this now! I'm going to have hammer toe surgery at the end of July and I'm so thankful to have this. As soon as I slipped it on my right foot I no longer had any hammer toe pain! It doesn't slip at all and I can fit my foot in my shoe easily. It feels so comfortable on my foot.

Not very comfortable

Sorry - but these literally do nothing....! They are indeed soft and comfortable - as they are just a band of "jelly" that fits over your toes. But there is No point. They don't offer any support - nor separation of toes - nor do they help with Hammer Toes in ANY way shape or form - nor do they straighten anything - nor do they "correct" anything. Every single thing it sez that it does - it does NOT. :^( I guess if you had a boo-boo on yer toe and wanted to keep yer shoes from irritating that, it might work?? But so would extra socks....! This was a complete waste of money. Def NOT for anything related to Hammers.

These are the best hammer toe corrector!! Wow! I’m so happy to finally find an answer to my foot problem, without surgery! I’ve tried everything available in foot care products, all it did was aggravate my toe, with swelling, redness and pain. These are comfortable and keeps my big toe away and keeping my hammer toe down. I got the soft ones, they are soft and comfortable. I am so thankful to Zen toes for finally helping my poor toe!

These actually work. Wearing them helps the Hammer Toe pain in all my toes. It took a day to break in. There is slightly more pressure on the bottom side of the toes. Something to recognize, but not to worry about. Your problems may be different than mine, and your results may not be as good, but for the price - if your toes hurt give them a try.
