Acme Versailles Queen Wooden Panel Bed in Bone and White

Very beautiful bed but the bed has come damaged twice!!

We bought the whole bedroom set and my wife absolutely loves it. The package arrived in perfect condition. It is well constructed and sturdy.

I was very excited for this bed, but when it arrived the headboard was cracked and the size isn't accurate. I ordered a California King size, and the bed is either a King or they got the Cal King dimensions wrong. There's a space between the railing and the Cal King mattress, that makes it very uncomfortable to get in and out of bed. Also, sitting on the bed side is very uncomfortable because the railing digs into the thighs. The color is deceiving as well, it says vintage gray, and the actual color is a golden tan. Would definitely return if it was an easier item to return. Not happy with my purchase at all.

Bed frame is well made, very sturdy, and just as beautiful as the picture. The frame itself is slightly wider and longer than my box spring, with an extra inch all around. I wound up sticking some wood blocks in around the edge at the bottom to make sure it stayed centered. I ordered the queen size. A standard queen is supposed to be 60 inches x 80 inches, the one I got could fit a boxspring 62 inches x 82 inches. I'd prefer it to be more snug on the bed, but once you get blankets and everything else on there it's not really noticeable. My biggest complaint however is probably just the packaging. It's a big item, so I expected some work, but I ended up filling 15 garbage bags full of styrofoam. After cutting up all of the boxes in to small pieces, the cardboard alone filled an entire blue recycling bin solidly full. I also had a significant wait time for my order through prime appliances, though that no longer seems to be the third party seller for this page. They kept delaying my order, and it seems they contracted the sale out to another vendor after I had been waiting for 2 months, finally arrived at the end of month 3. Hopefully that was just a fluke, and maybe they were just winding down that part of their business because it no longer looks like they sell furniture products.

Overall the bed is nice. However, it came missing some of the jewels, which Cymax has been completely unhelpful. You can't actually speak with a representative over the phone with their company. The only form of communication they have is via e-mail, which just gives you the run around. I only wanted some replacement jewels for the bed to put in myself. I contacted ACME (the manufacturer) directly, but the beds are made overseas and they don't have replacement parts. The only option they gave me was to send back the entire bed for a replacement just because of a couple missing plastic decorative jewels. Completely ridiculous.

This is a huge bed with a very big back panel. Dont let the images fool you. You are getting your money's worth!
