It is a total value for money product. It is very opaque and has a buttery consistency.

Beautiful lustre and covers nicely
This paint is pretty good. I used this for a fabric project - updating some plain old blue jeans I seldom wore. I mixed with a gloss medium and it was super easy to apply and covered well, delivering a light grey with a rich metallic lustre. In my case the silver was a bit too bright so I mixed it with Ivory Black (also Liquitex BASICS) to achieve more of a gunmetal effect. Everything mixed nicely and though it does stiffen the fabric a bit at first, the jeans look amazing… however in my mind they weren't as edgy as they turned out so I’m not sure I’ll have the courage to ever wear them in public unless I dress up as a rockstar for Halloween or something :DYou get a lot of paint in this bottle, so even after this I still have quite a bit left for smaller projects… I'm considering doing the same gunmetal effect on an old sad pair of canvas shoes that are still in great shape. I can probably live with a little pop of silver on my feet.
