Red Vines Licorice, Grape Flavor Twists, Soft & Chewy Candy, 5oz Trays (12 pack)

I'm 73 years old and have eaten red Vine.Licorice red black grape.I've even tried all of the new twists and flavors recently. Grape flavored licorice was always hard to find and particularly with local retailers.It was always kind of a specialty product but now thanks to amazon I can have as much as I want to satisfy my cravings. Thank you Red Vines!

My favorite candy when I was young was the yard long red licorice from the candy store. Later, Red Vines were my favorite when the candy store closed. Over the last eight years or so the taste of Red Vines has declined to please. This week I had a hard craving for tasty red licorice. I tried another brand than Red Vines because I could not get them in one day. They were horrible. When I found a one day Red Vines supplier, I ordered four 14 oz. bags.They were appalling. They were so salty they caused me to drink several glasses of water. They were hardly sweet. Their aftertaste was acrid. These were an absolute disaster. Processed food in the USA is going into the tank. Good ingredients cost too much. Producers are not even trying to make acceptable products. Salty licorice?! This is an offense against the buyer.

I prefer this stuff to the Red Vines that come in a 'tub'. Costs more, but tastes better.

Too good

The grape flavored red vines were a part of my childhood in the late 50s and early 60s in a small town. Rexall drug store; a quarter from my folks; 25 grape vines. I was in heaven! Hadn’t had any for 50 yrs until I discovered them on Amazon. Thanks for the memories!
