So Tasty! Great Snack, Rinse Well
I love the nutritional value of beans, pulses, and legumes, but I don’t usually consider them a snack food. This product changed all that. The beans are larger than I’m used to for lupini beans, and they have just the right “pop” when I bite into them to make them satisfying, but then aren’t crunchy, but fairly smooth. I eat 1/8-1/4 cup everyday for a snack, sometimes with a spoon, sometimes one at a time. One thing: when I get the jar, I immediately open it and drain off the brine, and then rinse the beans repeatedly to remove some of their sodium content, because it would be too high otherwise. I drain them, and then store them without any water back in the jar in the fridge. Maybe they would dry up after a time, but I eat a jar over a couple weeks, and this practice hasn’t changed the quality. I feel these are a good value for my money because: 1) they are much more nutritious and high in protein than crackers or pretzels (which I would probably eat instead), 2) I only eat the recommended serving size or less, which gives me 14-21 servings from a $10 jar (I buy them in a 3-pack) and makes each serving around $0.71-$0.48 in cost. And, as someone who has tried to make them myself from dried beans and did all the rinsing and waiting and still had the bitter taste even after all that effort, these are a steal in my book.

Fresh and tasty
All 3 jars arrived undamaged and the expiration date is 3 years in the future so they are fresh. They don't taste quite as good as the brand I usually buy but they are much less expensive, so they are worth buying. For newbies, break the skin with your teeth then squeeze the bean into your mouth. The skins may be edible, but they are rubbery and not pleasant to eat.
