I finally got fed up with losing random hex keys over the years. These are made of sturdy material and I don't have much fear of them breaking under stress. I will say that they came rather tight out of the packaging and I had to make some adjustments to the compression joints on the handles, but other than that these are great.If you are looking for a system that is reliable for keeping them secure and in an easy to locate system, then this is what you want to purchase. If you want something that will provide the torque necessary to remove those ancient rusted parts, this is not what you need. You should instead be looking at a system that has handles specifically designed for heavy duty jobs; these are more for light to moderate work.

These things are the greatest invention ever made as far as I’m concerned. They speed up the process amazingly.

Upon first use, the bolts are over tightened, made it very difficult to open. Once loosened, worked well. The plastic casing is ok, I worry it won’t survive extreme cold weather. Will update if there is an issue. Made in The USA!

The smallest keys in the same and metric sets are unusable. They will not unfold. But it is unlikely those will ever be needed. The plastic seems poorly made so I doubt much torque can be applied. Might be ok for my limited purposes though. Unsure if I will return but i would encourage those who use items like this professionally to look elsewhere. Maybe the all metal sets the same company makes would hold up better.

I needed a new comprehensive collection of standard and metric allen wrenches. I found these Made in USA! They are precise and durable.

I already owned the three Eklunds with ball heads for off-angle wrenching (labeled in the photo. I love Eklund's traditional color coding: red for SAE/fractional, blue for metric, green for Torx. So at my request, my daughter gave me the 5-piece set this past Hanukkah to complete my collection. I wanted to keep all eight sets stored out in the open. I tried placing them on my pegboard's tray, face down, but the pegboard is slightly angled down, and one or two sets kept sliding off. Then I realized, "The pegboard is full of holes; why not open one wrench of each folding set, slide that wrench through a hole, and bend the set downward so it's out of the way?" I did, and it worked (photo).
