I tried to get some use out of this but it was so big I had to really stretch my socks. I even had to buy new socks that had more stretch t use this. This would be perfect for a large man with big feet. I tried to change the shape of it by taping it up and running hot water over it but that didn't work. I had a smaller one with my last hip replacement that worked effortlessly. Don't get me wrong these devices really help and are invaluable for hip replacement patients.

This product appears to be well-made and sturdy. I highly recommend it because it works! The home health occupational therapist taught my husband how to use it. (It's quite simple, really. But the product arrived the day before the therapist's visit - so that teaching became part of her session that day.) It was a real struggle before this product became part of our daily routine. This product makes my husband's life easier. (It helps me, too, because I have my own spine problems. I can use it to don my own socks. And it keeps me from having to watch my husband struggle with his socks.)

I find this very easy to use, now that I have put rubber bands around the end so that it closes smaller. It's so cheap and light that I throw it in my gym bag or suitcase without a worry. It pulls the socks up over my ankle, and I can reach down and pull it up the rest of the way. For the price, this is a winner! Comes with instructions.

This sock device is great and the price is perfect. Easy to use and store. It fits in the sock drawer so you grab it with socks. Other helpers need floor space and don't easily store. This is perfect for travel.Recommended!

This simple looking tool really helped me! due to hip and arthritis issues, i had trouble getting a sock on one foot. this tool helps me slip the sock right on. It gets the sock started, not all the way on, but that is good enough for me.

I found these just to difficult to use for me. The effort to get my darn sock on this dang “helper” was harder than putting on a sock with out it.

A lifesaver if you can't bend over following surgery. Takes some time to master, but does the job and it made me wonder why I didn't buy one sooner. One criticism: Instructions should include showing to hook the upper collar of the sock over the rope knots outside the trough, or the sock won't slip up far enough to reach.

I don't have to struggle anymore to get my socks on. I took this on vacation and it fit nicely in my suitcase.
