I like that this gives you a consistent product each time. I used this for pie crust and it worked like a charm. Even thickness every time. I like that it’s stainless steel, easy to use. My only wish is that the base was longer, so I can make long sweeps for larger doughs, but this seems to be the standard length.

Love this thing. I have been wanting one for so so sooooo long. I'm thinking at least 15 years + Finally was able to save up enough and justify the need for purchase. So Happy I bought this one. I have used it waaaaay alot already within the few weeks. Pizzas, Hot pockets and chicken bakes mostly. Perfect for everything. It has made things not only prettier but also faster and some how better tasting ❤️ I LOVE how things are more unified. And easier to do. When you make 14 or more home made pizzas every month you totally need this. There are so many things I was wanting to make but just couldn't fit it in because It took so long to make other things. But now I can make things faster like pizza crust. A SERIOUS time saver. And a serious quality control helper tool. ❤️❤️❤️ Speaking of quality, it's a pretty good quality. The rings are a hard sturdy plastic for sure. There are some that the rings are breakable real easily I've seen them out there. But this set is with strong and sturdy rings. And a great price as well.

Great rolling pin, bought it for my daughter to make cake pops. I did have to buy an additional set of "disks" as she needed the 1/2" disk for thicker pops. This cleans and stores well. It's a good basic rolling pin and great that it comes with the silicone rolling mat.

Love that it has the size rings on the end. Popped it in the freezer for a sec (just because) got it out went straight to rolling. Worked great. All my cookies came out the same size requested. It was worth the money, it rolled nicely, and having the sizing rings there is no guessing the correct size. There are 4 rings which makes it very versatile, and looks and feels very durable. Washing was a breeze.

Big hit as a Christmas gift for an 11 year old youngster learning to bake. Easy to use, accurate for measuring the thickness of crusts, cookies etc. Easy to clean and durable because it is stainless steel.

Great inexpensive rolling pin. The stainless steel is smooth and the pin rolls well, making it good for fondant and also for pastry. The measurement markings on the shaft are handy. I love the discs that it comes with, that make it easy to get the thickness of what you're rolling exactly right and uniform. They're so much better than the bands that eventually get stretched out and are hard to read the sizes on. Although I didn't buy it for the mat, it's a really nice extra. No need foir a ruler or a compass. It's thick and sturdy—cutting fondant with an x-acto knife did not go through and cut the mat!

I made some cookies this weekend that had to be rolled to a specific thickness (1/8", in this case). This rolling pin was invaluable. And the mat! Cookies were super easy to peel off, so I didn't have to dust the mat. I'm *very, very* impressed with this and have recommended it to my whole family. My two very minor quibbles are that the pins/screws which are unscrewed to adjust the height of the pin are hollow with a pretty large hole in it. This is probably not a big deal if you know about it, but I hadn't noticed before I submerged them in water, and that could potentially become an issue later. I don't think it's that big of a deal, just be aware of it.. The other is that I was working with pretty cold dough, so I was pressing fairly hard on the pin, and there was a small difference in thickness of the dough where I pressed on the center of the pin. I mean, maybe 1/32" or 1/16", but when the dough is only 1/8", that's a quarter or even half of the height of the height of the entire dough. Easy to avoid now that I know about it. Having said that...even though the recipe calls for 1/8"....it's probably better to go for 1/16" for that specific recipe. :)

The mat doesn't work well without flour. The pastry sticks to it.

Works great, though can be dented a bit too easily
